I voted for Parayko. He looks to be solid in several areas. It's difficult to compare such young goaltenders to skaters. Goalies mature much later than the best skaters, and so much can go wrong with them because their mental game is so important.

Also went Parayko... If it was still prehockey season, then I definitely would have went with Binnington and strongly considered him at this spot. It is hard to turn from seeing that his size and skill will play at the D-I college level successfully, we may have someone that may work into our top 10-15 next year.

Gardiner may not be a wash after all and may need some consideration given his size and skill level. He is off to a good start at Penn State. He's getting some minutes and a bigger role than his first taste of college hockey.

Parayko as well. Maybe the Blues found themselves a D Man.

Went with Peluso. Seems to be a pretty safe choice to at least spend some time in the NHL. The Blues seem to have a knack for developing tough guys that can hold their own on the 4th line with King, Reaves, and Peluso in the last few years.

Going with Parayko again. Probably one of Binnington, Nigro or Peluso next.

Ill go Cundari, he was pretty highly ranked before last year, but seemed to be passed up by Fairchild last season.

Peluso, Nigro, Walters and Beach are the non-goalies I'm considering for upcoming rounds. I love that these polls started in July.

Eh, when he was in juniors he struck me as a future Tootoo/Avery/Clutterbuck type that really gets under the opponents skin and gets them off their game. It doesn't appear that it will translate to the NHL level though.

I honestly don't get to see many of these players, so I'm really just basing it off of the player he projected to be when we got him from Washington, not the player he probably is now.

Never thought he would be a good scorer in the NHL, but more of a less physical more agitating Crombeen type.

With the poll starting a while back would the mod and voters consider reranking Jaskin and dropping everyone a spot from the slot he is voted into? At this point he has to be a top 10 prospect.

I agree. Jaskin should definitely be in our top 10 now(call me crazy but possibly even top 5ish). I say we hurry these up so we can start a new ranking sometime after New Years. The way it's looking we're probably not going to have much else to talk about anyways, and that way we'll at least be able to give everyone a fair shot(instead of doing some players before the season/some players during). Just my .02

Isnt this a preseason poll? I dont think hot starts should drastically change it.

Crum, it started as a preseason poll but it isn't now.

If Binnington keeps playing so well, he'll pass Parayko in this poll.
