Yeah, it's 8th and 14th. I was JUST there late last week... Parked a few doors over. Been to the Starbucks across the street more than once.

My Dad lives there. He lost power some time ago. I'm sure his cell phone is probably dead by now so I'm not even going to bother calling/texting him until tomorrow most likely.

It's definitely getting ****ed up though.

Neighbor doesn't really live in her house anymore (she's VERY elderly, lives with family more often then here) and a piece of her alum siding snapped in half RIGHT by the power wires. Threw sparks 15 feet.

The power's flickered in and out for hours, but still holding strong here in Union County...

Power went out at 2pm.

Transformers have been blowing all night though most have to be toast by now.

Parents a mile away had power as of 7pm.

I think the Red Bank substation blew as well because I saw a massive amount of light coming from that direction and its all gone now.

Powering down my phone now.

Stay safe people.

Yeah, my best friend and her family's power went out and they have a transformer laying in their driveway. She said the phone towers went too, so I have no way at all of talking to anyone from around there. I'm scared for the worst

I'm just waiting to lose power here in Hunterdon. Power has gone in and out about 5 times in the last 40 minutes, but it comes right back on in just 2 seconds. Assuming it's just surges.

Ho-ly ****. This storm man.

Transformers blowing up looks like green lightening from far away. Trees are falling everywhere.

Stay safe everyone. Don't do anything foolish.

NJ News 12 reporting there's ALREADY 700,000+ without power in Jersey alone. Crazy; and this thing is just getting started.

Friend says Rutgers evacuated. Will be coming down to assist in clean-up in my home town. If it's any comfort, Lake Erie is going ballistic right now, and coming over the break walls.

as usual, I have no power issues and works closed through tomorrow at least. I sure am glad I gave that leprechaun a reach around that one time

Lost power around 6, as expected since my block always does, but otherwise things haven't been too bad.....some transformers blew which put on an interesting light show, right before power went out

Some trees have gone down around bergen county and towns near rivers have some flooding but nothing too serious, not much rain just some strong winds.....think we got the edge of it when it hooked towards philly

I really feel for those down the shore, heard barrier islands are toast, and even before the storm hit there full force things weren't pretty, ACs mayor is a ****ing idiot for telling its residents not to listen to christies evac demands because of a personal gripe he has with him.....childish ****

Stay safe all

I've been without power for almost 11 hours now. We've had the generator running for maybe 9 hours. My house has been rattling all day with the wind, but ever since the wind shifted, and started coming from the south, it's gotten worse and the windows seem to be on the verge of cracking. Basement is still dry for now though. Cell tower must have gone down around here because my service is either gone or at 1 bar. I have to go outside in about an hour as well to refill the generator so it lasts through the night. This **** ****ing sucks ass. My buddy on the other side of the highway literally got seawater in his house and it apparently crossed the highway for a bit. Terrifying thought when if it went 200 yards further, it would have reached my street...

Also, my house is getting cold, pretty cold...
