One of our clients is asking disaster recovery questions now.

You didn't think of these things for the last 2-3 days? Really? Wow.

While, honestly they did this to themselves, My grandparents are stuck in their house which is on an island in Little Egg Harbor/Tuckerton, in the approximate area where the Hurricane will make landfall. They have to ride out the storm there...I hope they make it :x

It's raining here in Pitt. Supposed to get flooding tonight into tomorrow, we'll see.

I think I was sending the long piece all the way through the back in the gap because I didn't have 2 pieces of material on each side at first. Mainly I couldn't figure out how to tighten the middle without nuking it. O well maybe next weekend.

The guy in that Youtube explains how to correct that stuff. It's awesome.

I'm just glad I don't work in Claims. They're going to be swamped for weeks after this.

We lost power and had it come back on 2 minutes later. First thing we did was grab the beer out of the fridge while we knew it was still ok to open it. Now have about half of it on ice just in case

Once power fails, move all beer to the freezer which will maintain chill factor for up to 24-36 hours depending on frequency of opening. Fridge won't last long after opening.

Spinning a beer in icy water with some salt sprinkled in will chill it in about 60 seconds too.

So not only is a Hurricane named Sandy coming through NJ, specifically at the shore, but we now have an Incident on 57th Street......did Bruce predict this in 1973?

Eerily fits the 'The Wild, The Innocent' part of that album title

I'm getting messages from my town saying that they expect power to go out. That uncertainty is annoying. Could go out at any time, and having to sit here and wait for it sucks.
