Not the worst decision I've seen, but I think Danzig should have got it.
And there's Chuck. Looks like he could still strap on the gloves and do some serious damage.
Yeah there we go. Liddell vs. Couture IV. I'd be game for that.
edit: I'm pissed. I recorded the event live. 3 hour recording that obviously went over 3 hours. Totally missed the main event. Now I gotta wait another day or two to catch it on a rerun.
Tough to see Franklin go out like that. Not to take anything away from Le, but it's probably just time for Franklin. Guy's had a great career, there's nothing left to prove, just doesn't seem worth the risk anymore at that age. My guess is that's the last time we see him.
Word was all of the judges had Thiago Silva up 20-18 going into the third. I don't know how on earth you give him the 2nd round for slightly outpointing Nedkov when he got absolutely dropped toward the end of it. But again, people's opinions differ on that sort of thing. I've seen a rematch with Vera mentioned (which I have absolutely no interest in), but I'd like to see him fight Phil Davis next (assuming he gets by Forrest which is a pretty safe bet).
After the fight Vera had with Shogun, I've gained interest back in Vera. Wouldn't be against Vera vs. Silva. Though Davis vs. Silva works perfectly fine with me.

Other than the knockdown, Nedkov didn't do anything.

Glad to see Gomi get the win. Close fight, fairly entertaining as well. Most of all, I'm glad that he showed up with improved cardio. He still gassed out a bit but he wasn't nearly as bad as some of his previous UFC bouts.
Cung Le... The Man With The Iron Fists... Sad to see that happen to Franklin, one of my all time favorites, but that's the fight game for you.
HUUUGE win for Cung, that KO was a thing of beauty. Hopefully they give him another brawler in his next fight and not a "tougher" opponent that will just take him down and grind him out.
As for Franklin, I don't think this is the end for him. More or less he got caught with a great punch, it's not as if he's been getting knocked out frequently. I think he'll take at least one more fight and then go from there.

Cung Le vs Anderson Silva! One last hurrah for the 40 year old . I'm joking... but then again, am I?

Aside from the big punch Nedkov landed...he just wall and stalled while eating knees and palm strikes. I had it 19-19 (the 2nd to Nedkov for the knockdown) but Nedkov seemingly gave up and Silva beat him up and took him down and subbed him. Thiago needs to use his BJJ more hes got a heavy top game. Cung Le....I will never doubt you again..I gave him no shot but man he just smashed Franklin.
