He's been a man on a mission ever since he got "demoted". Hope he comes back all beefed up next season and makes the team

I'm quite certain Rakell will get games in the bottom6 next season. Perhaps even regularly.

I'd agree. He looked really really close. If he can add some strength during the summer he'll be golden. And he'd be a great bottom 6 option.

So apparently the coaches did tell Rakell to work on his offense when they sent him back. Isn't he near or over a ppg since he went back?

Wellinski with a slashing penatly after the whistle. He will fit in nicely . Game is on Big Ten Network if anyone is interested. Not sure if it is live though.

@Eddie Shack: Over for the season, and I believe he's at 10 points in the five games since his return. That team has a real good chance to win the Memorial Cup.

Daaaaamn. I know that's a small sample size, but you have to wonder if a few games in the NHL gave him a taste of what it takes, and just how talented a kid he is.

I suspect it's partly what he worked on while he was here and the rest is the three trades that they made.

Having played and practiced with NHL'ers, the OHL game probably seems alot easier for Rakell since it's slower, regardless good to see he's not sulking about being sent back

Rakell was 13-17-30 at 32 games when he was recalled.
Now he's 19-21-40 in 37 games after return to Plymouth.

I think with time he'll be an instrumental player for the Ducks. Although probably never on the top line.

Saku Koivu is like the perfect mentor for Rakell.

I always thought the Ducks emphasised the 2nd half of a season in their scouting. How players play when it counts. Love that. Our pool is great, we have such a solid mix of blue chippers, grinders, small talented forwards. Rickard will be here by the end of next season.

Am I the only one who thinks we need to get Cramarossa under contract? I think he is worth giving an ELC to!

Send a message via ICQ to Professor John Frink
If I'm not mistaken don't both Karlsson and Cramarossa need to be signed this offseason? My guess is the Ducks will get it done in time.

I'm sure that they'll sign him near the end of his season.
