Almost ready to write off Rodin. Just can't play in his own end or get the puck out of his end. His line spends most of the time scrabbling in their own end. Has some skill but not near quick enough to get loose to make a play. Hard to see much up side here. Bad defensively and not near good enough offensively to compensate for it. Maybe in the right situation with some good players might get something done. However, would be strictly a complementary player than anything to build around.

Player whose game is getting better is Joslin. Started the season making too many high risk plays but now has settled down and maybe the most dependable defenseman on the Wolves.

Connauton is playing decently. Does seem to be focused on moderating his game and being better in his own end. Not pushing the play as much. Might be that this style doesn't suit him and he is best when he is little more involved in the offense.

Archibald looks clumsy at times but he is adding a much needed degree of physicality to the Wolves game. Second period was not a bad period for him. Created some chances and not bad in his own end.

so basically a bigger, worse Keith Ballard but with a better shot. Conversion to the wing might a decent idea, worth a shot to have a guy that can play forward or Dman.

Only 3 Europeans Canucks skating prospects graduated to the NHL via the AHL: Edler, Hansen and Grabner. Each played at least one season in the WHL prior to.

Not looking good.

Connauton shoots, shot gets blocked and Archibald scores. Good game for him, now just work on that skating.

It's really disappointing to keep reading that, I've really liked what I've seen in the handful of games I've watched. The game in Abbotsford I went to in particular he was strong defensively, especially down low.

Well, this sucks. 2-2 again... seriously, Sweatt... that was the cleanest face-off win, so much time, how do you **** that up.

And now it's 3-2 for the Admirals. Wow. Embarrassing. Connauton iced it and then a one-timer from the point clean off the face-off.

Yup, the finishes have been poor for the wolves.

Are you serious? I just refreshed the page from a minute ago when they were up 2-1.

Pathetic team this year, coaches need to be on the chopping block. Playing for a crap team isn't going to be too much help for our players' development.

I think this is the 4th or 5th game in a row that this has happened to some extent. Too many players are not trying at all when the puck is in the defensive zone. Too many players that are not good under pressure.

But perhaps most importantly, **** the coaching. I'm sorry but with 2 minutes left you better shuffle up your lines to get your best and most responsible players out there, not players that have been turning over the puck the whole game. Ebbett out there with Haydar for a defensive draw with 40 seconds left? Great!

I look at this as a good thing actually. Maybe it gets management to seriously consider removing Arniel. Just maybe.

It also is showing our lack of depth when it comes to pro-ready prospects. Only a handful of guys who look like they could play in the NHL in the near future.

Can't blame Climie. Defense was tragic in the last couple of minutes.

Archibald showed some promise. Don't know why he didn't see the ice again after he scored.

Blain was weak. Simply not strong enough.

Thought Kassian had a good game and is showing some more consistency. Guy seems snake-bit as far as scoring goes however. Would have good total if the puck would start going in for him.

Sauve had better game (not saying much here) but still gets stripped far too much in his own end. Some people complain about Connauton in his own end but if you really want to look at problem watch Sauve.

Mallett is a project. Needs to start producing some offenwe. Close at times and it may come. Like many on the team makes too many mid ice turnovers.

This is getting ridiculous. So many games they've blown lately. And Climie just gets robbed of a win yet again.

2 wins in the last 9 games. I'm hoping they lose another 5 or so, so there's no other option but to fire Arniel. But the assistants might perhaps be an even bigger problem. Baumgartner, I believe, is coaching the defense and that has been going... badly. The special teams are the worst in the league too.

The fact that I don't even bother mentioning him speaks to how little I think of him. With Connauton it's at least worth posting about him.
