Steroids? That **** is bad for ya.

The lady doing the herbal treatment said she should expect to see some improvement by Saturday with it being completely healed by next Wednesday. If she's still having problems, surgery is pretty much her only option then.

I have my doubts about the whole herbal thing, but I'm pretty much just letting her go with it since she really wanted to try it. Obviously her doctors didn't care too much about that decision either, but it is what it is. Either it works or it doesn't, and if it doesn't then she's back to having the surgery anyway.
See post above. She's exhaling too soon, obviously.

Y're invited to Colorado to enjoy both high altitude skiing and doing doobies at high altitude - both are legal now!

I'm sure either of my boys can show you the best spots.

Loved the lawn chairs for seats in that one. Later (I think it was last season's 4th episode), May gets to drive a sports car that is basically the same concept as what they did -- all-electric drive but with an onboard gasoline engine to supply extended battery life.

I've probably already said this roughly five thousand times, but... please give me my A4 plugin. I love the concept of driving pure electric for 40 miles or whatever and then cutting to gas after. That would eliminate, or nearly eliminate, all of my gas consumption to work and back (nevermind if outlets were installed in parking garages).

Speaking of cars, thinking about getting a new sport sedan; my current one is getting a little long in the tooth as its a 2007 and has 56k miles on it. I haven't done too much research on them and none of the car commercials are making me jump out and head to the dealer. However I am quite excited about the F series coming out in the near future and might trade in my sports car for one, as I saw all the movies / pamphlets etc for them when I took my car in for its scheduled maintenance.

BTW, Anthony Bourdain was entertaining, not so much as I would go again but it was alright. One of the ladies had a good time, while the one that came along to balance out my sides was bored out of her mind. Taking her out again to do something she wants.

Indeed. I'm watching it today.

I'm also prepping for a John Cusack marathon. On tap:

Better Off Dead
One Crazy Summer
Hot Pursuit
Grosse Pointe Blank
Hot Tub Time Machine

Sticking with his more fun movies, not the dramas.
