If our #3 goalie's not available (his wife is giving birth), you may face our #4 or even an ECHL callup (Matt Underhill)... so, you have a chance.

Sounds good. Dogs could use anything they can get these days. A win tonight puts us temporarily over Syracuse. Danis should start tonight which also helps. Does anyone know why Danis and Ellis split starts 50/50 (or close to it)? I know they have to please Dallas, but Ellis just can't win. His stats aren't bad, but the team never plays well in front of him.

That's not his fault, it shouldn't stop him from starting his share of games.

Yes Yes we only have a chance because the #4 goalie is playing tonight (maybe).

Last night the game went into OT despite St John's being badly outplayed. The Kerry Fraser of AHL referees is in tonight (Langdon) ...so, you have a chance.

JF Racine had something to do with it, stopping 39 shots.

The Leafs have a scary 1-2-3 combination in net.

That's a good point. Also, when you look at it, Danis is 13W 11L I think, so not that much better. Personally I just don't like splitting starts with two goalies. I think you should ride whoever's winning. Instead Jarvis seems to give each keeper equal time regardless of playing.

That's a big mistake, IMO.

Sorry, which is a mistake? Riding who's hot or giving everyone equal time?

not riding a hotter goalie and using ellis just to use ellis seems like the mistake to me.

:lol

There is nothing scary about Mikael Tellqvist, which is why the rest of NE division is just waitin for Belfour to retire and Tellqvist is oficially the number one ...

JS Aubin: .938 save%
Mikael Tellqvist: .918 Save%
JF Racine: .923 Save%

The depth is pretty damn good.

Exactly, which is why Jarvis' tactics are frustrating. Instead of continually going with Ellis, who clearly stuggles, he should let Danis, who is playing better, get more starts. Danis IMO, also has more potential than Ellis. Ellis is older (granted only 1 year), but has never really shown much. He shouldn't be getting as many starts as Danis.

Did someone hear the name Kostitsyn in the first period ?

Is he playing with Ward and Ott?

Well he had a shot on goal and he's +1 so far.

Is he playing with Milroy ?
