I'm hoping some of you can give me a little advice. I'm off to go watch the Heat game tomorrow night against the OK Barons and I was hoping to get my Regina Pats Eberle jersey autographed.
Does anyone who frequents Heat games know of how the best way to try and get this done is? Should I show up to the arena early; i.e. when the doors open? Is there a spot after the game where most fans wait? Any help anyone can offer would be most appreciated. Thanks!
You do know the Heat are the Flames' farm team, right?
Yeah unfortunately that'll mean their won't be too many Canuck fans (or this board) really watching too many Heat games. Would be not significantly different if say Calgary had their AHL team playing in Edmonton. Obviously the Oilers-Flames rivalry is deeper but there is no love lost between Flamesfans & Canucksfans.
Better to ask this on the Flames board (where I assume at least some of them live in BC & watch a number of the Heat games).
I went to a game in Abbotsford once during the last playoffs. They were playing the Toronto Marlies, who had two German players (Marcel Mueller and Korbinian Holzer) on their roster. I wanted to see those guys play.
Is that enough of an excuse for a Nucks-Fan to watch a Heat game?
Anyway, you can try to get a hold of players after the game. All of them exit the rink on the backside, that's facing the parking lot on the southside, basically between College Drive and University Way. Lots of fans were there after the game to get autographs. The area is accessible.
