Egging and other Vandalism on Halloween

Have you or someone you know ever done this? Ever been the victim of Vandalism on Halloween?

I know this is quite popular back east on Halloween.

Throwing eggs at cars and homes and at people.
Throwing rolls of toilet paper on other homes and trees.
Putting shaving cream inside of mail boxes.

Some people want to throw (frozen) apples on my house this year.

But no. Never did it nor was I a victim of it.

Never did anything of that sort. Wasn't interested in vandalizing at all.

My parents' house was egged once by the local "he'll be in jail at age 18" punk, but it wasn't on Devil's Night and was along with other houses, and mine was hit once on some random night as well. Thankfully that's all I can claim.

I have never done it, and I always thought it was immature. I can understand doing it when you're 12-13, but after you get a bit older, you just look really stupid.

Do kids still do this these days? It might just be me, but I think that going out on Devil's Night was bigger back in the 80's and 90's than it is today. Kids these days have a lot more to do entertainment wise than to go around ****ing things up.

It's called Devils Night and you don't do it on Halloween.

Never even thought of vandalizing someone else's property. However, have had my car scratched and dented with bricks a couple of times, as well as my house getting egged.

Egged our school with some buddies during summer vacation when we were 10 or 11... Didn't see that the FedEx guy was there and saw us, so he chased us... but didn't catch us. We ran through the field that was muddy and he was to prissy to get his hands wet. Half ass effort by him, been a UPS fan ever since.

Never done it, or been on the other end of it.

Have had a brick thrown through my car's rear window, and my car egged on random nights though.

We used to pick pumpkins up from porches and throw them. That's about it.

Someone smashed my windshield with what looked like a pumpkin (because of the shape of the smash). However, it might just as easily have been a person shaped smash.

Needless to say, I was furious.

That would happen every year in my old neighborhood.

There was always at least one group of kids who did it in our neighborhood. I took part a few times when I was younger. You still see it where people's cars or houses are full of shaving cream, TP, and eggs. People's mailboxes filled with dog crap, etc. Usually it's targeted, sometimes it's random. Sometimes it happens if you don't give good candy, etc.
