Whenever things get remade, people say it'll suck or something like Disney doing Star Wars (which I won't think will necessarily suck and it's better than no Star Wars).
But this will suck. The original show was on ABC Family or whatever. This one is on Disney channel and I dunno how many of you have seen Disney Channel but the demographic is now completely under 13s. I remember a lot of teens and young adults watching Boy Meets World, Disney channel doesn't cater to that audience. Their sitcoms aren't the same type we used to see on UPN or WB in the 90s. Nickelodean used to make a few of those that teens could watch like Drake & Josh but even they stopped.
The shows on Disney have gotten so bad, and I don't even mean Hannah Montana bad, they've gotten so much worse.
1. That article states that Mr. Feeny was Cory's nemesis. Negative, Mr. Feeny was Cory's mentor and some might argue that Cory was Mr. Feeny's mentor. When you are a kid (as Cory was) it was more annoying than anything else t have his teacher live next door constatly knowing what he was doing, but that didn't stop Cory from going to him for advice all the time. By the end of the series they really cemented their special relationship with the last scene of the whole series being back in their first classroom together.
2. It is almost impossible for a teacher to end up teaching their own student. Every time it is even possible in my district they have a different teacher. Although, our buildings are big enough where there is never just one teacher teaching that one class.
3. Obviously I have spent too much time analyzing this.
LOL, those are like the evil mirror universe Shawn and Eric.
I'm probably in the minority but I think this show can be good. It's just too bad Danielle Fishel seems to have aged about 30 years since the original went off the air. She was stupid hot back in the day.
Very cool that William Daniels (Feeny) turning 86 in a week is going to appear on the show. Shawn kind of looks the same, looks like Eric put on some pounds, not that there is anything wrong with that.
