Feeney was fired as a teacher because he got too close to his students, he's now a bitter old man who dispenses sage knowledge to the daughter like "Don't trust Whitey", "9/11 was a government conspiracy by the Luminati", "And nothing beats a shotgun as a social equalizer"

Meanwhile Eric went full time into his "Plays with Squirrel character until a doctor discovered that he was schizo and performed a back alley lobotomy. Throughout the show he can be seen in the background screaming "Feeney, Feeheheheney Feeney while pooping his diaper"

Things aren't going well for Corey or Topanga either. Corey is carrying on a secret affair with Rachel who became a woman's wrestler and moved in with Vader, meanwhile Topanga who was desperate to lose weight got hooked on crack and vanishes for days at a time.

They live in the trailer park that Shawn grew up with.

The daughter is an angry goth chick who in the first episode comes home with a dragon tattoo on her face and her new special friend, Frankie the enforcers daughter.

Of course the show needs to be played on HBO.

That show would suck.

This sitcom was good for the 90s but if it came out today, it would have terrible ratings.

It will be interesting to see if they make it the same humor and target the 20-30 year old's hungry for nostalgia or target the current tweens..not sure what the sitcoms for that age group are like now.

Which one?

The story about the directors son coming on the set the day of taping the last episode and nailing the lines is badass

I personally would like the show to succeed but i find it EXTREMELY unlikely the typical girl and her best friend shtick will get the job done. At least not anywhere near in comparison to Cory and Shawn.

They're no Chantel DuBois, that's for sure.

Just watched it on the DVR. Wasn't paying 100% attention but the daughter's lisp is pretty rough to listen to.

I found it quite enjoyable. Even though I knew it was going to be about the kids and not Cory and Topanga, it was still a little hard to come to grips with that fact now that the show is actually here. Of course, I'm still a kid at heart so I like kid's TV more than the average adult (i.e. I love Phineas and Ferb). I think a lot of adults watching the show because of BMW will struggle with it being a kid's show that they didn't grow up with. As much as I love BMW, if I would have seen it for the first time as an adult I doubt I would have liked it as much as I still do.

Oh, when she gave the thumbs up to Lucas and turned embarrassedly to Maya, I totally was waiting for her to say, "I did this" while holding her thumb up again.

I couldn't stop staring at Ben Savages' nose. That thing is hideous.

I thought it was a cute episode. Obviously meant to appeals to today's kids. I wish it wasn't on Disney though. BMW talked about serious stuff and was more risky since it was on ABC. It appealed to a larger age group whereas this show will be strictly for little kids.

I do not think that I want to watch this. First off, I do not want to nostalgia **** myself, secondly I do not want to ruin my memory of BMW. I just feel old lol

Felt really cheesy. And the girl who plays daughter's acting is atrocious.

I'll give it another shot though because, nostalgia.

I feel old

Also people should realize this is more about kids with rest of cast just there to try and connect with classic series

Reality is as nostalgic as we want it to be this is meant for little boys/girls not people in late 20's and 30's who grew up with BMW
