Ovie and Ryan on the same line.... Crazy. But Ducks won't do this. Ryan is staying in Anahiem or Brian Burke will find a way to get him in Toronto (and maybe Getzlaf, Perry, and Hiller too)
Caps get a top line RW who would replace Semin one for one and would fit in with Ovechkin and Backstrom.
Ducks get a young top 2 centre who would replace Koivu when he retires, good energy player to give them some depth and first.
Johansson is probably one of two pieces that would have to go, but I'd assume that Kuznetsov or Forsberg would also have to go (perhaps with the 1st dropped to a 2nd).
Or a deal around one of the Caps young defenseman +
That's a top 6 young forward, a top four young Dman and a 2nd or power forward prospect for a top line power forward.
While I understand the thought process here is looking at value, the problem is that Anaheim doesn't have a need for any of those things or at least a need that would require dealing Ryan.
LOL, guys we're not desperate for prospects. Right now, we need to have a season before we have any idea what our needs are. Though I will say, 'please, no' to any defensemen. We're good.

Maybe, or maybe not. I've seen what he has done to Team Canada in 2 junior WC. I have seen him play, saw his potential, besides he is C. And what is that about Boby Ryan that should fetch super return? He is 60-65 point winger who is brilliant in offense and not responsible enough defensively. Just my 2 cents. Semin for example put more points in average then Ryan

There is no maybe about it. Bobby Ryan has 4 straight 30 goal seasons, without 1st unit PP time. To suggest Anaheim would have to add in a deal for Kuznetsov is insane.
They don't make very good trading partners. Anaheim's need is a true #2 center. They will want more than Johansson, and because they are giving up Bobby Ryan, they're gonna want more than him.
The Bruins and the Ducks are always gonna be the best partners when it comes to Ryan, and if Ryan gets traded the first place I will guess is Boston.
