If you explain this to me and I may think about voting.

I'm probably in the minority, but I think Wyshinski's work and overall knowledge of things is rather subpar. I think he appeals well to the casual fan, I do. But to someone like me, he's rather off-putting for some reason or another. I get his angle and all, and hey, it's working for him...but I don't care for it very much at all.

Couldn't agree more. He seems more interested and informed on the celebrity aspects surrounding the players than the actual game. I mean, he obviously knows a thing or two about hockey, but he seems to always return to those themes.

Jeff Marek bores the **** out of me. I liked him better when he talked about Hulk Hogan and who would win the WWE.

So much hate for what is an entertaining and free podcast.
Don't think of it as a source for infallible hockey information; think of it as two guys who love the sport (coming from different backgrounds) just having a conversation. If you don't like it, fine, but there's nothing wrong whatsoever in what they're doing.

Marek's voice is grating but it's a way to get an hour hockey fix every couple days...podcasts get me through my work day.

Proudly voted.
What's with all the hate? They're funny and informative. How many obscure facts does Marek pull out every podcast?

Greg knows his hockey. As a member of the media looking for an audience though, he knows what sells.

Always found Marek's NHL knowledge lacking. He seems more suited for junior hockey.
I felt bad for Scott Morrison having to slum it with him on iDesk.

Voted. The #MvsW podcast and HFBoards are the only two NHL related things that I'm bothering with during the lockout. Big fan.
Wyshinski's Bettman impression never fails to bring a smile to my face.

Not sure about the podcast, but if Greg Wyshynski's offerings are anything like his Yahoo articles, you can expect to already know as much or more about the topic anyway. He just latches onto stories and twists them in a simple, boring manner just to get web clicks. Leech.

Greg Wyshinski is a blogger from Maryland who has never played hockey.
Jeff Marek is just a goof. Not at all interesting or informative to listen to.

Already did. They're excellent and easily the most entertaining show covering hockey.

I don't mind Marek but Wyshinski is terrible. He's too bias.

I love this podcast. It is perhaps the only thing hockey that I still pay attention to at the moment.

I don't know much about a fake sport where waxed and oiled guys wrestle each other in their underwear.
