Best release of all time

Who has the best overall release (quickness and power)?

All time:

Sakic
Hull

Currently:

Kovalchuk
Ovi

so many guys in the league today have underrated shots... Semin for sure, probably has the best wrist shot, datsyuk has a sick snap shot, really quick release... daniel sedin, pinpoint accuracy, decent power and release.. Heatley still has a great shot... too bad he doesn't really try anymore.

Sakic and Hull. But Sakic's wrist shot release was espically unbelievable.

Naslund had a pretty good one. Would never say best of all time, but he deserves a honorable mention.

Haha, I like how you snuck Sedin in there. Your homer is showing.

Mike Bossy for sure. Man, this guy could score from anywhere, anytime, whenever he wanted.

The beauty of a shot like Kovalchuk/Sakic is that it's hard for defensemen/goalies to tell when it's coming.

The beauty of a shot like Semin/Hull is that more often than not the goalie/defenseman knows its coming - they just can't do anything about it.

For me it's Semin for the best release all time.
