I loathe KSU, but respect the hell out of Bill Snyder. I can't believe that place has the #1 team right now...
As far as Notre Dame, they aren't very good but keep winning. Pitt was totally screwed last week though and should have had a 1st and goal in that 2nd OT on the missed FG. For those that missed the controversy (which seems to be just about everybody I have talked to):
Look closely. #2 on the left side of your screen. Also a #2 in the middle, which can be easily seen on the replay shown from the back.
I'll root on the Ducks (not actively, just as the team I'm less against), I suppose, especially with Scott Frost as an assistant coach.

Non-sequitor: The only Division 1 team to score under 50 points against Idaho State this year was an FBS school, Air Force (49).
In their 9 losses (they won a game against a transitional DII school that's 3-7) they've allowed 49, 73, 54, 77, 52, 52, 70, 50, and 70 points.
Bengals gonna Bengal.
“The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile, but that it is indifferent. If we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death, our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.” - Stanley Kubrick
Matt Spaeth's game never really translated to the NFL. I remember watching him in the Big 10 and he was a match-up problem all year during his final college season. It just went unnoticed since he did it in Minnesota. Although he did still get enough votes to win the Mackey award that year. He just has an awkward build. He's wiry but not fast and not that strong so not much of a blocker either.
Steelers also had interest in Kellen Davis (Bears TE) in UFA this past off-season. Very glad they lost out on that sweepstakes. He's also a terrible blocker and has been dropping everything thrown to him this season. Dude got booed off the field multiple times tonight.
