At least the league is in a lock-out during this. I pisses me off because we're already weak down the middle, but hopefully he gets healthy before NHL games started.

Isn't this old news anyways? I recall a Cervenka scare during the first few games of the KHL.

Chervenka's rights were traded from Omsk Avangard to Lev Praha because Cervenka was supposed to fill Hudler's spot (after his injury) on Lev in the KHL. However, he never got to play in the KHL this year because he hurt his back playing for Slavia Praha in the Czech Extralinga 9 games into the season on oct 19. He hasen't laced them up since.

Does anyone know anything on the severity of the injury?

transfer was completed indeed and he has played today his first KHL game of the season; got 1 assist in a road win.
So hopefully it was not that serious.
