I knew starting BROSSOIT was a bad idea. Oh well. We'll get em at the juniors!
It wasn't really his fault, lol. They gave him the chance to start with becuase he was rock-solid. But our defence couldn't keep up with Russia's offence. Comrie did hold his own out there for the rest of the game.

I didn't say it was his fault. I said it was a bad decision to start him two games in a row.
The quote of the night comes from the replay official upon seeing the replay on the scoreboard:
"YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING THEY'RE #$%@ SHOWING IT UP THERE FIRST!?!"
You think he's mad now, wait till he finds out the review was broadcast live coast to coast. LOL.
Lol good call I heard that too but couldn't quite make out what he said. It was the first time I'd ever heard officials talking over a review like that not broadcasters. Yeah that was funny.
Win or lose, that was an awesome game. About as much talent on the ice last night as there was playing anywhere else in the world these days. Yakupov, that guy looks dangerous anytime, anywhere out there. Russia were bigger and faster in every way, blew us out of the water in the second period there. That goal at the end of the first was killer, and then when we get the goal to pull within one, they go right down and score again.
Still, I thought Team WHL was real impressive. They obviously had not been playing together as long as Russia but there was no mistaking the raw talent. Reinhart was a huge force every time he was out there. Rattie and Reilly had some beautiful plays. Russia's size, speed, and most of all chemistry was just too much though. Russia looked like a team and WHL looked like a collection of all-stars.
