I respect the LSU players if they truly are injured, but damn do they go down often.

Clemson wins. Great game. Good redemption from last seasons Orange Bowl.

Great defensive battle and another classic example of Les Miles getting outcoached. Can't ask for a better game than that.

How sad is it that a cheerleading coach outcoached Les Miles. Even sadder Spurrier lost to Loss Miles and can't beat him. But we also didn't get weeks to prepare to play them in a neutral stadium in a game many LSU fans didn't care about.

Wife is happy though...

Happy new years, HF football board

Too bad Boyd folds like a little ***** most of the time vs a talented D or else probably would. This is his best oerfornance ever by far.

I think Boyd should stay another year in college. He isn't ready yet.

I like how according to the haters Les Miles gets lucky in every win and outcoached in every loss.

I think their last drive last night was bad. They had second and two and passed twice. If they run Clemson has to use timeouts or they kill some clock even if they got stopped. Miles is a good coach but the play calling cost them last night.

Those were choices deviating from conventional wisdom but then again fans complain when coaches start playing it safe and change their playcalling late in games as well. In reality good playcalling is calling the plays that win, one way or the other.

Miles takes a riskier approach than most coaches and he's won some great victories that way and he's lost a few games that way. But he's a hell of a successful coach and probably one of the most underrated because some people love to scorn those who take risks and then fail at times.

The problem is, it doesn't matter how many 5 stars you collect, when you have a career loser at head coach the results aren't going to be there.
Yeah. I fear USC is gonna be garbage for a while. I think USC was ranked as high as it was because there were high expectations for Barkley and company to make a hit with his last season, but they had no defense. Probably the worst defense I've seen since I started watching USC.

he is mystifying player. He has all the tools to potentially be a starting QB, and he is pretty athletic too. Then he has 1st halfs like that where he throws the ball tot he other team for a pick 6 and the next play throws a beautiful 75 yard td bomb.
