That's the special teams unit that got Florida this far, but the Gators are still down three possessions.

16 points, so only 2 possessions with a pair of 2-point conversions.

But the clock is their enemy, and even though Louisville hasn't converted fully on their chances to blow this one open, they've been able to kill clock very effectively.

Not sure why you go for the onside kick rather than just trusting your D to hold them to a quick 3 and out or get a turnover.

After the last Louisville drive, would you trust the D?

EDIT: and of course, they get the 3-and-out. But 97 yards to go needing another score after that.

Well they got the 3 and out but now Louisville is punting from midfield not their own 20 yard line.

Florida is wasting some time here given they need two scores. Getting close to where they may need to go to an onside kick even if they get the TD and 2 points on this drive.

ESPN still acting like this is some mammoth upset. Florida had the worst passing offense in the country and needed a last second blocked punt to be LA-Lafayette ffs, only SEC homers could be all that surprised by this result.

Actually it's not that hard to see, Florida got destroyed in this game but opportunistic D and special teams have kept a game that really at this point should have the backups in within range of a realistic comeback attempt. Against most opponents that's more than enough.

Florida wants to make this a ballgame, but I think they just dug themselves too deep of a hole.

And what in Sam Hill is that? Awful play call.

Plus the offense while it sucks does a good job of not turning the ball over, which helps. Tonight that was not the case.

And another stupid call...lucky he got out of bounds...

I imagine a lot of people had a feeling they might lose, but I know I didn't expect them to get smoked by Louisville.

And if the missed two-point attempt wasn't game, that was. Big East doin' work.

And to think there were ESPN talking heads who said that Florida is the real best team in the country.

Great defense and special teams. Defense couldn't get off the field tonight, just got beat by a great QB. Offense still needs playmakers and Driskel needs to take a big step forward. Oh well still a good season, just didn't finish.

Wow. I thought Louisville would keep it respectable, but I did not expect them to come out and dominate like that.

I really like Bridgewater. And Driskel blows.

Everybody should have loved Bridgewater from the beginning of the season. The guy has been outstanding all year. He's going to be a great pro.

Just got my Fiesta Bowl tickets for tomorrow. I love living in Phoenix and always having a big game here.
