Spoke to GM. He should either be online now or shortly to enable his CPU. Stuck in Calgary without a phone or Xbox
Yup online now. Got games in with LA and DAL and will be on all night.

EDIT: Cpu is enabled but would like to try and play them.

There's only one glitch in this game that bugs me...the stupid backhand forehand deke at the goal line...so unrealistic

yeah.. mostly because i can't pull it off..

another 2 disappointing losses for the Kings.. another loss in the shootout.. this time to the Sharks.
a 4-0 blowout to the Blues.. Though I felt I played well in both of these games.. I'm getting the offensive chances again.. i can't bury them..

Also my defense abilities are terrible.. I try to stay tight to the player, but I cant maneuver with them, it drives me absolutely crazy.. any tips on a defensive strategy that works the best? usually i control the forward coming back on the back check and let my computer CPU defend.. which on the rush that works.. but once in the offensive zone is when i get flustered.

Loui Eriksson is back next block problem is where does that leave Toffoli.... No way I play Brown on the 3rd line so I guess it's off to the minors for him

Dont always backcheck with the player, backcheck to your net. Take away the center and make him do something.

A big pet peeve of mine in this game is when people don't control their own damn defensemen.

Like when you're coming down 1 on 1 and they just stay controlling a back checker who's nowhere near the play. Or when you're in the corner trying to cycle and your opponent is controlling a player who just stands in the slot. It's the most annoying thing to play against. Take control of your players!

Sometimes when i do that though i catch myself trying to hurry, and then i make mistakes where as if i just try to back check to one posistion with a player I can make a better play. I mean im not going to use a player whose in the other zone but im going to use a player close to the play.

I disagree with this.. its a strategy, just like any other play.. I'm not going to switch to my D if my CPU defensemen can play it better.. why would I do that, just asking to get blown out (not that it really matters in my case anymore, every game is a blowout )

And even though the offensive player that i stay on is out of the play.. by the time he's back in the play the other team already is making a pass to the point and if I am controlling that player coming back into the zone I'm already ahead of the curve to make a play on him. (again.. not like it matters for my case)

Just seems like such a cop out move for people who can't play defense properly lol... Also takes the fun out of it for people like me who like to stick handle. Computers don't fall for that stuff and we all know how effective hitting is when it's a computer doing it haha.

I don't know if this is just my team because all of my d-men are either offensive with no clue how to play defense, or they're really slow and can't transition, but if I don't take control of my defensemen everyone will blow by them while they try to turn around.

Are you kidding me? I can play D just fine. I like to backcheck and fill passing lanes. Cop out? Please. I just prefer to not chase around people using loose puck dekes all over. Also, I used my D every time I needed to. Which was actually quite a bit.
