My ECHL team had Peter Lenes. The only guy I've ever seen listed at 5'4", other than that guy in the KHL. He was shockingly small. You almost can't believe it seeing him skating out there.

[EDIT] I cannot believe somebody else beat me to Lenes, right above me! HA!

Kyle Rau's career has been fun to watch, Schroeder too, prospect wise with NHL upside not taken into account.

I've seen him play twice in Wheeling. He's not afraid to get in there and bang bodies either!

Gaudreau was labeled as too small from the get go. He outperformed most of if not all of the USHL players that were drafted ahead of him in his draft year. He led his team to a championship that year as well. The he goes to BC and puts up excellent numbers as an undersized freshman and was a key factor in them becoming Nationa Champions, now as a sophomore I think he has a legit shot at the Hobey Baker and being a back to back NCAA Champion. There is also talk he could go pro as early as next season, despite having the long term project label slapped on him due to his size.

Johnny Gaudreau has incredible skill mixed with an unmatched work ethic and clutch ability. The kids has all the tools needed to make it and be a star.

I just kind of hope I get to see him in Abbotsford for a year before he makes the Flames.
In a thread about peoples 'favourites', there is no right answer.

Desharnais, because he's so good...and his story is unbelievable (undrafted, dominate LHJMQ, ECHL, AHL and now got 60 pts in the NHL) and he's from Québec

I also like Zuccarello who dominated SEL, AHL and now doing really good in the NHL.

Prospect: I'll go with Gallagher!

don't be sorry. I don't think Morgan will make a game more entertaining. If he makes it, I'll be a reliable d-man, but won't amaze anybody.

Rocco will be amazing if he doesn't fall out.

Came in for KEN GERNANDER!!! He came up in spurts and always seemed to score big goals.

Were you at any of the camps last year when he was getting under EVERYONE's sticks? He looked like the best one out there.

Favourite player: easily MSL. Just an incredible story. Fought through all kinds of diversity to become a future hhof-er.

Favourite prospect: Schroeder. I've got confidence in that guy, it's just a matter of time.

Zuccarello, albeit to become studish he would need to ever get a fair, legit chance first, which seems far from guaranteed at this point.
