I'm saying that >2/3s (more realistic percentage) of these "voter fraud" or "voter suppression" tales are just nonsense.
again, the 2 party system makes it either guy A or guy B. divide and conquer. get 2 sides arguing in the office,on a message board, on cable news shows. pick a side and cling to it, then vote for it out of some sense of affiliation. its a farce, i agree 100% (if thats what youre trying to say)

over 2/3 is still a very high number, to me. now, if youre talking about INTENTIONAL suppression, thats one thing, but i think a place mandating seeing a photo ID before voting is due more to someone's lack of intelligence as opposed to some sort of evil conspiracy.

This is about the ELECTION.

Period. End of sentence.

I don't think Nader is running this year, for the first time since the declaration of independence!

Isn't Roseanne Barr running for the green party? I might be wrong, but she's running for some party for sure.

Roseanne lost the nomination for the green party, and is now running under the peace, and freedom party. LOL!

I'm still thinking this locked up the results for those undecided.

So what's the best media outlet for following the election?

I get these + their respective 24h news channels

NBC
ABC
CNN
Fox

and seems I'm missing one but can't remember. What's the best? No Nancy Grace or like personalities.

I think VA closes at 7. And if Obama wins that state things look not too good for Romney. I don't trust exit polls though.

I was referring to most people in general when I talked about information disseminated by the media, meaning "everyone" and the public at large, not just you (I thought that was obvious, sorry is not).

But you did make a statement that is being floated in media that can easily and quickly be refuted by even a cursory glance at the data. That's all I'm saying. Nobody would reasonably look at the OH early voter data and think Obama2012 is happy with it. Again, it may not matter, Obama may very well win Ohio, but if you think they're doing "well" by having the 10 best Democratic counties DOWN about 7% from 2008 and the rest of Ohio UP > 10% from 2008? I dont know what to tell you.
Ok, sorry about the tin foil comment. But when you're essentially telling me that the liberal media is biased to a comically absurd degree, where they are not only offering a liberal take on the news, but actively censoring anything that makes Republicans look good, Orwellian Ministry of Truth style, then I have to wonder if we're talking about the same thing here.

Whatever the case, I have attempted to be, on the whole, respectful in my arguments, as I always am here. I hope you will offer me the same courtesy.

These polls?

Majority did NOT take Gary Johnson into account even though he's on the ballot. Romney or Obama? <--- was asked.

Ponder away at that one.
Like you, I do wonder at that one. Who is he taking more votes away from? Is it different in certain states, like in Colorado maybe he's siphoning more Romney votes and in Ohio he's taking more from Obama? Hard to predict the effect of his candidacy.

I didn't see what you had to delete, but I'm sorry if my comments contributed to that. I know this is a special privilege just for today and I don't want to screw it up for everyone.

I am actually even more worried about VA right now for Romney than I am about OH.

Probably wont be called until 7:30pm or after, but if Romney loses VA, he 100% MUST win OH + either WI or IA + NH. Certainly possible, but far less likely.

Johnson definitely takes from Obama in CO because of his pro-pot position. Tough to say elsewhere. Maybe he hurts Romney in NH because of their strong libertarian numbers, I could see GJ costing Romney NH.

In polls I saw with GJ in other places he only got like 3% in about 2:1 O:R proportion. But in the event you get a 1% state he could factor in.

Negative. I already quoted my own post and included a note about it to alleviate any concern from anyone like this.

Zero tolerance in this one, we're not really suppose to have it after all...

I didn't order a regular anyway, I'm enjoying my large for $8.99.

Might be sort of odd, but I love seeing the CNN map of the country and the different states changing colors and the electoral votes adding into the candidate's pot. Mildly exhilarating.

The best channel is CNN, when Erin Burnett is on.

Can you link me to that? I want to see it and I don't feel like hunting.

Or wait, are you talking about it being on the TV coverage? If that's the case, never mind.

I love Erin Burnett. I used to wake up to her on CNBC and be back from school to see her too. <3

And I'm currently on CNN.com. They have a polls and results tab. Currently nothing since the polls are open and stuff though.
