Well regarded prospects you aren't sold on

Name some prospects that majority of people are high on that you just aren't sure about.

For me it's probably Jonathan Huberdeau. I don't have that much evidence for this claim, but everytime I've seen him play he hasn't looked special.

EDIT: I wouldn't put Strome in the highly regarded group, same with Zibanejad. I think both were mentioned frequently in the most overrated prospects thread a little while back. And lol at Kadri being mentioned.

You have to watch more than 1 or 2 games to see Huberdeau's potential.
Mine would be Strome, Zibanejad, Beaulieu (never impressed me in more than 25 games) and Forsberg.

EDIT : I forgot about Scheifele, the dude is huge, dominant in Junior, but I doubt he will even be a second or third liner in NHL. His overall game is missing something, way overrated.

Zibanejad mostly. Has a lot of tools but no tool-shed (I think that's how the saying goes).

I'm still certain that no matter how good Grigorenko is at the junior level his game won't translate well into the NHL, he might produce but won't ever adapt to the physical play and will bolt to the KHL a couple years from now.

He will have a Nikolai Zherdev careeer, a 50 point liability.

Huberdeau for me as well. Maybe I just always catch him on off nights or something, but I've seen him more than a couple times, and he's never really wowed me.

Zibanejad, Galchenyuk(although he has pretty much shut me up so far)

All of them.

Seriously though, how is Taylor Hall even getting mentioned in this thread? Kid was on pace for 36+35=71 last year, which would have ranked top 20 in points…as a 20 year-old! But all that aside, is he even considered a prospect at this point?

Wow, Strome is getting a lot of votes here, maybe he's not that highly regarded after all, but I'll vote for him anyways. I'll throw Klefbom and Teravainen in the mix as well.

For my team, I'd have to go with Louis Leblanc and Nathan Beaulieu. I was concerned about Galchenyuk, but he has removed the doubts. What a machine he is.

For me he has a lot of skill, but pace is just pace until he does it. My main concern with him is injuries derailing him.
