Strome: Can't see his game translating to NHL success
Zibanejad: Really well balanced player but he isn't great at anything. He can be a solid NHLer just not a great top 6 player IMO.
Huberdeau: I don't think he can play the same game style in the NHL that he plays in the CHL... Kind of like Strome.
Etem: Really lacks vision, and creativity. I think he will have strong start to his career and then finally cool off when the opposition learns to his style.
Out of his draft class ,this is pretty good thing .He wil be one of the better first rounders but will end up being a solid two way winger/center.That draft was pretty weak really
Rundblad's flaw is defensively and foot speed/skating. There actually the same problem. I've watched him a few times and noticed he tends to get caught flat footed or burnt to the outside by the opposing attack. These problems are cause by his skating. I don't know if he's had a skating persons help but it's a problem that could fix his game. Hopefully he's improving in this area and another season in the AHL could definately help his progress. Rundblad still has lots of upside and I think he's one prospect that will come around and develop into a strong #4-#5 guy fot Phoenix.
His attitude? Could you elaborate because this is news to me. I can understand people doubting him for his play, but he has done nothing or said nothing to raise any eyebrows in the eyes of this Isles fan.
To clarify about his attitude:
I have noticed this year that Strome is not pressing in the game until he feels he has to, throws little fits when anyone challenges him physically in the offensive zone, grabbing and throwing opponents sticks out of anger, shooting daggers to the referees on 'unjust calls'.
....basically acting like he is the ***** and that he should be treated differently.
If his attitudes transfer to the NHL, he will quickly ostracize himself from coaches and teammates.
Having said that, potential 70+ pt player when everything comes together.
