For those of you who are College Football fans...what a night, eh?! Absolutely crazy.
amazing, and I am glad they gave Stanford that touchdown because it was the right call; I thought they'd cave because they were in Oregon and the easy thing was go inconclusive....I can't believe all Alabama has to do now is win games infront of them and they are number 1 again- that's it. Crazy. And Kansas State wtf....this was an epic beatdown by so-so team on the current SI coverboys

I miss the Bruins terribly, but there is hockey. I wish I had weekends off so I could go see the Springfield Falcons, or UMass. I feel like starving Julie Andrews pressing my nose against the restaurant glass in "Victor/Victoria."

K-State is always a fraud team. They get a lot of hype and they always seem to find a way to mess it up. I'm just happy that we're not facing the prospects of seeing those fakers play for a national title.
Also, love to see the Irish being relevant in the college football discussion. It's good for the sport. All they have to do is get by USC without Barkley and they play for the championship. Even if they don't win, it makes one of the most storied programs actually matter for the first time since Holtz left.

well..... I guess you could call it that. We're going to our annual Reading Royals (ECHL) game this weekend. Good news is that they're on a 9-game winning streak! Bad news is I feel like a bandwagon-jumper.

When I got my schedule a couple of weeks ago I was surprised to see I had a Saturday off (my usual "weekend" is Monday-Tuesday, and I get an extra day - usually Wednesday - right now because we're doing furloughs). I immediately checked the Falcons scheduled and lucked out with a home game. If I didn't work weekends I'd go as much as possible, even without a lockout.
