Anybody heading out for some high school football tomorrow morning? I'll be heading to Brockton to see Brockton vs Bridgewater-Raynham.

Dinner tonight set the table for a great couple of days for food. Homemade cheesesteaks and cheese fries. I considered taking a picture, but didn't want to delay eating it. Was SOOOOO good. Now I have pumpkin bread in the oven.
I don't get to watch my high school football team - I grew up and played in CA. And none of my kids play(ed). Not that I'm broken up abut that. I do like the Thanksgiving HS football tradition around here though.

Can I come over? Pecan pie is my favorite and I'm going to have to share this one my wife made.

My high school didn't have a football team, so I've never been into that whole tradition. Sitting at home watching the parade and toasting the holiday with some mimosas is more my speed.

The Herald every Thanksgiving publishes an article written by Gerry Callahan in 1992 about high school football on Thanksgiving . Its a must read, give it a shot.

Unlike baseball, basketball, and hockey, this is it for the seniors. There's no adult grabass football leagues. This is the final time 90% of these kids will ever play the sport again.
