edit: no deaths fortunately.
What the **** is going on? A shooting worse than Columbine in CT (a ****ing elementary school no less), and now a guy knifing children in Beijing (thankfully, no one killed). Society is getting more and more ****ed up every minute. ****ing brutal.

Maybe you have to be a parent to understand (no offense intended) ... it felt sincere. After my daughter was born I turned into a big p**** emotionally.

Oh no I absolutely agree on both counts. There is no doubt in my mind it was totally sincere but the eye rubbing seemed a little played, at least after the initial one.

Night whats your avi of

Shame aboht the tragedy, heard about it late last night. Worst thing I could hear of.

Sad thing is people are going to blame the guns instead of the troubled individual.

I just purchased a duel console NES/SNES for mysel... My roommate for Xmas. Now I'm on dkoldies.com shopping for games. My cart is at $270 right now. Cutting it down to $100 is going to be tough. Very excite in pants tho.

Nearly scorched my shorts when I saw Micro Machines.

Oh and **** yes GoT.

There are a few ganes that id love to own a super nes for. Miss tmnt, smash tv, stanley cup and a few others. While I had a version of smash tv on a greatest hits disc its not as fun having unlimited continues. If I had a perfect port of the gane id cut down on the continues a little bit but have more then 3.

The amount of cotton shirts and sweaters that have been ruined by washer/dryer due to my laziness is staggering. When you want them to shrink, they don't; when you don't, they do.

Just came back from The Hobbit(2D). There were three separate couples talking loudly around us...

I've noticed the reviews aren't the best(mostly, it seems, due to the 48 FPS which I did not watch) but I quite loved the movie.

Since I mostly go to movies alone, I wait a few weeks because I hate people ruining my experience. I still remember seeing Transformers the first week it was out and a 2 year old walking up and down the stairs several times before finally stopping and pooping his diaper 3 steps away from me. Yeah ... that was awesome.

So do you think its worth seeing in 3D then? I usually don't go for that, but I hear they have 3D glasses for people who actually wear glasses now! Woot!

So I saw the Hobbit in 3D with the high frame rate. The fire and water looked beautiful but in some of the action scenes the people moved too quickly. They weren't fluid and it gave the scenes a very "fake" feeling. Probably not worth the extra ~$10, at least in my opinion. But otherwise I thought the movie was great.

I see commercials for this crap all the time:

Is this not the stupidest design you've ever seen?! It looks like a damn snake ... How much money did she pay to push this dumb thing over and over and over?

It's a way for men to tell their wives - "I think you're a snake and I regret marrying you" but they will see see a heart, remembering that stupid commercial. And all will be well.

Happy 25th birthday Mega Man.

EDIT: because maybe people won't realize what the link is, for the anniversary, Capcom is offering a free download of Street Fighter X Mega Man, a fan-game turned official project that basically lets you play a brand new 8-bit NES style Mega Man game where the opposition are Street Fighter characters instead of traditional robot masters.

it's pretty sweet.

that might work. I know the Yukon is begging for doctors right now. If you can coax your wife to come up here and handle the cold, I think the territory would fast-track her

It was weird, it looked like it was being projected at the wrong frame rate or something. Although I only paid like 3 extra dollars for it. My bigger issue was the movie was damn boring (in my opinion).

The movie was terrible but I am not a fan of the series and was not informed that it's a trilogy.

It was shot in 48fps, maybe that's why. Although, technically, it should feel more fluid, like watching sports. I didn't notice anything in 2D.
