Seriously, someone please go make a different thread for comparing **** length, and leave this to prospect discussion.
Anyways, I've been lurking about on forums for our prospects' respective teams and several are in full on meltdowns. Wisconsin, Maine and Sudbury fans are going crazy.
Would that be the USCHO boards btw? Pretty neat forum for finding out more about college hockey teams... I really should lurk moar to be honest.

A lot of Sudbury fans want a rebuild, and have mentioned trading Corrado to a contender. Anyone know what the chances of that happening are? Would be nice to see a prospect on a team making a push for the Mem Cup.
I also have to wonder what the Canucks brass thinks of the situation in Wisconsin, if they may subtly suggest to Labate that his development might be better handled by another organization?
I thought it's usually a common occurrence for seniors to be traded from a team that's going poorly to a contender to give them a chance to win, no? It'd be interesting to see how much his numbers jump on a good team that can score.
As for U of Wisconsin, I've always heard Eaves had a good program at that school... why is that not the case anymore, other than the changes they made to the way they're playing this year? Or was it always just a good D-man factory?

Yes mostly USCHO, just discovered it, it's really cool The OHL subforum on here is good for checking up on our 3 O kids too.
The UW fans seem to be split on firing Eaves. I mean their top 2 players are out right now, but it sounds like the team is just showing no signs of life.

I'm not sure how Labate would be able to go to another organization. I suppose you might be suggesting that he could go to the CHL, but at this point I think he's already 19, so that ship has pretty much sailed.

That's what I meant, yeah. Fast tracking him through the O. I'm sure that's a pipe dream though, he's set on going to college, which I won't fault him for. Would just be fun to have a 6'4" forward prospect in the O.

He'd be silly not to goto college. He's still a long shot to have any sort of relevant NHL career, he might as well have a Plan B while working towards a Plan A.
College is also ideal for him to grow into his frame. The workouts they do there and the schedule help you put on weight even during a season, as opposed to junior where you're more likely to lose weight during a season.
Watched Morgan Reilly play the Victoria Royals tonight. Shows great skating ability and offensive smarts, but was a bit of a puck hog and made dipsy doodles instead of getting it deep.
Moose Jaw was down 3-1 in the third until Reilly made two terrific plays on the 2nd and 3rd goals—showed why he was a 5th overall pick.
I've seen Reilly play a few times (SSS, Friday Night Hockey) and he seems like a bit of a puck hog. Also have seen him stay out on the ice for large spans of time. Nothing to fret over, he's still a great player.

He's obviously the best player on the team (a middling team at best), and I could see him getting frustrated when his team-mates weren't receiving his passes, etc. that he started just taking it in himself. He'll have to make some adjustments at the pro level but he was definitely a difference maker tonight.
You know in Wayne's World, when Wayne is at the guitar store looking to by "excalibur" and he starts of 'Stairway to Heaven' and they won't let him play it...can we turn this thread into a No Morgan Rielly zone?
I can't go into any thread anywhere on this site without hearing about him. He's a very good prospect, with other worldly skating skills, a pretty solid 1st pass, but Im just tired of hearing about him.

He reminds me of Kris Letang and PK Subban with the way he skates up ices with the puck. All the media are drooling over his skill set but whether or not he can make the next step is if he can adjust his game to fit the NHL, which Subban has had trouble with and Letang has done quite well.
