Corrado has been mistake free again from what I can tell. If anything, he's playing a more noticeable game then yesterday. Looks silky smooth when he carries the puck for a breakout. I'd say I'm officially starting to like Corrado's chances. He seems to be getting more confident as time goes on.

Based on his camp thus far, it is not hard to pencil him in for the available spots. But one still has to factor in coaches preference and bias.

We'll see what happens. He's not making it easy for Team Canada to cut him thats for sure.

I took a peak into the main boards and it sounds like the Corrado talk is getting more reasonable. The kid's play will speak for itself.

Probably has to do with playing time, since the other defencemen who are considered locks aren't playing. Being on the most dependable pairing means he's leaned on more so is more noticeable.

I thought he played a lot last night too. He's used to it though with how much ice time he logs in Sudbury.

Well, you're seeing him on international ice right now. It's pretty sad.

I wasn't 100% sure if this was international ice or not. Good to know it is.

Skating is a huge issue for him.

That's probably an understatement. 4 goals scored, Dumba at fault for 3.

Is it just me or is Corrado getting very little ice-time?

It's been all special teams in period 2, and the coaching staff hasn't used Corrado on the PP or PK. Pretty frustrating.

That could be a good thing. Maybe they've seen enough & are keeping his TOI down because he's made a good enough impression?

Yeah, I don't get it. He's a great PK player in Sudbury. Why isn't he on the PK? Maybe they feel like he's shown enough compared to the other guys?

Might be because they've seen enough to know he's a player and they want to see the others more.

I hope so because he's certainly a better PK player than Dumba is.

I was thinking the same thing. I just assumed it was because I can't read the numbers half the time. I have a feeling the coach has seen enough of him for today.

Hmm, I'm sure I saw him out there for at least one PK.

It's possible, but he's certainly not out there as much as Reinhart - Murphy or Pelech - Dumba (ES pairings, I know those weren't the PK ones).
