C) Boyd doesn't fumble to hand a free 7 to Toronto/Burnett's pick stands and Toronto doesn't get 7 there.

D) We don't let Owens catch a punt on the fly at midfield, another free 7 for Toronto.

E) Marcus Henry doesn't drop a TD.

F) Nichols doesn't have his career ended just when we start showing signs of life.

G) The defense could make a ****ing tackle after the 1st quarter.

Joseph couldn't possibly have been worse, and STILL we should have had this game well in hand in the 2nd quarter if not for shooting ourselves in the foot over and over and over.

This is the worst loss in franchise history IMO. The day Maciocia was made head coach in 2004 will still be the worst day in franchise history, but this game is right up there with it. Disgraceful and embarrassing on so many levels.
What the hell happened with that? Kavis Reed is an idiot... not sure how that decision was made.

Did Kavis not like how Charles looked at him on the sideline or something.

Just one last kick in the face from Reed and Crandell. I'd demand a trade if I was Charles. Just a total slap in the face to him. Boyd was junk today, yet ended up being the primary. Some decisions are so bad, you have to winder if Reed just wants to be fired.

Cheering for Sask in the next game. Calgary is a total fraud, winning several games this year only because the other team (often us) blew a late field goal. Either way, if BC doesn't win the Grey Cup it will be a monumental upset. The Als should be easy fodder for them.

Well lets hope so, but that that was brutal. At this point if the franchise announced they were moving to Nunavut I wouldn't care. It's just as hopeless with Reed at the helm as it was with Maciocia.

Oh TD for Kerry! Looks like Reed is vindicated afterall

On December 12, 2011. Almost one year ago. The Edmonton Eskimos traded one of the greatest quarterbacks in the CFL. This was the response from hfboards:

Watch for me on Global News tonight. This and the Falcons lost their undefeated streak because they can't punch it in from the 1-yard-line. Not sure if

Based on how Edmonton's sports teams are trending, a switch to plastic might be appropriate.

Ray winning the Grey Cup would be the cherry on top for this season.

If that trade wasn't made, would the Esks have had a bye this weekend because they were the conference leaders. Probably not, probably still losing to the eastern 2nd place team or missing playoffs with Ray as the quarterback

lol wat.

We didn't score an opening drive touch down all year. That was Ray's bread and butter when he was here. I think at least some of those losses by 3 or fewer points (6 in total) would have had different results, with some better starts, and especially with Ray managing the ball.

Ray played well in this game, no doubt. That said we didn't make him do a whole lot and self imploded all over the football field.

Our offensive and defensive lines were embarrassing today. As per usual.

I have no idea, and have said this all year, how Koch is our starting center. On the play where Nichols leg is broken Koch watches as both Argos blow right by him on their way to that awful play.

I'll cede that no QB can or should have to contend with that and you just can't have that.

I hope Nichols is OK.

Anyway, we're all Esks fans here. No reason to chew each others heads off over this.

I wish everybody peace today and getting over whats yet another bad sports story for Edmonton fans.

Good luck to Ray, class act on and off the field.

They got worn down through the year but the talent and coaching is there on that side of the ball. Special teams is good but we need a better kicking game and a more dynamic returner. On offense i like the Canadian talent and Charles looks good for the near future as a RB. They need a QB (Nicholls?), another quality import reciever (Bowman?) and an improved O-Line. With the O-Line nobody is more responsible for that than Macioca trading the pick that was Tsoumpas. They desperatley need to improve the OC position IMO, Crandall is a dud.

Seriously? You think Rod the Mod Williams is an answer at CB? He has been pathetic the entire year, last years playoff game against B.C and again this year. He is the weak link on defence. As for the coaching of the defence, how did you like all those blitzes we ran today, that put RR on his heals? I think the first one occured with about 4 minutes left in the first half with Munoz getting a sack. After the Argos had built up a 24-7 lead. As far as I'm concerned, the entire coaching staff on this team has to be fired after this debacle. That includes Nelson, whom I had some high hopes for, but I don't beleive he has a clue despite having some very good overall talent back there that do some nice things despite him.

As for the offence, I don't have enough space and time on here to list the changes needed at this time.
