I think I'm too old to remember.

I'll try to keep my sense of humor. This is awful.

I remember Maas being responsible for getting us to the Cup and being screwed by that dumbass Danny Mac.

This is so depressing.

No, It does say I was pretty pissed off as of course I'd be.

Great coaching staff the Argos have though.

Looked good on all sides of the ball.

Glad the game was a blowout and Calgary had to suffer through three hours knowing there was no hope for them. Cornhole was a non-factor, Kevin Glenn is who we all knew he was, and Nik Lewis continued his streak of being completely useless in playoff games.

The Stamps lucked out wins all year long, and it finally caught up to them. They're really not that good of a team, and that was proven today. I honestly don't think I'd trade our roster for theirs, Hufnagel is just a much better coach than the doofus we had.

Gotta love the predictable knob-slobbering over Ray by TSN. The guy plays his three best games in a decade, and kudos to him for doing so, but where was all the praise when the Argos were sitting at 7-9 a month ago? Sputtering along in a weak Eastern Division. I guess the first 16 games of the year are no indication of what to expect from Ray going forward.

So you don't remember Ricky Ray putting up one of the best performances of all time in a Grey Cup in 2005?

Gotcha.

For the record, Jason Tucker was MVP in 2003. But Ray was great in that game. In fact, 2003 was the last time he played as well as he did the last three weeks.

Pretty much this.

Doesn't help the Eskimos and Als just decided to lay down and die right in front of him, then Calgary comes up lame.

Toronto got some major ****ed up breaks this time. Coincidentally, in the year they were hosting the 100th GC...

Ya I guess Ray didn't win the week 11 Grey Cup this year.

3 playoff opponents with horrendous performances.

Neither the Esks, Als, or Stamps would beat anybody playing like they have in these respective games.

Nobody had it going.

I knew it was bad when Calgary won last week. That was there Grey Cup just beating the Leos. Typical Cow ****ers. Focus not on winning a championship but just beating a rival.

Amazing what he can do with a competent OC, competent HC and some weapons to utilize.

I remember him being great in OT. I remember swearing at the screen a whole lot in regulation time. Afairc the only success he had in that game was against prevent D.

I don't know if I'd say that, though ya the Esks completely **** their pants. Toronto gets full marks from me for winning. Their play calling was phenomenal. Milanovich and his staff deserve a ton of credit. They called plays designed to let Kackert and Owens to wreak havoc out of the backfield and on short underneath routes. Very good strategy, and it abused the Als and Stamps in particular.

So, he was only amazing when the game was most important?

The great RR generated 10pts offense in the first 59mins of the game. Without a fantastic D performance, and an outstanding kick return for a TD we're not even in that game. The late TD the Esks generated was on the basis of 3 consecutive penalty calls. That kind of drive.

Ray did little in that game in regulation time. Al's did less, they didn't even get on the board in the first half.

Calvillo has 9 TD passes in 8 Grey Cups. Ray has 8 in 4. I think Ray is fine.

I'd have to say the Argos D won this game. From what I seen, they played great.

It hurts having Ray win but I'd much rather him than that bloody Donkey team. What a lame performance and it's a shame they didn't even look like they belonged in the same league. Smoke and mirror team if ever there was one.

Well on a happy note, no more Tillman making drunken deals in the middle of the night and if whoever takes over this god for saken mess has 10 cents worth of football brains, they'll spend all winter tracking down a QB. I'm happy with Nichols and anyone else who isn't named Joseph or Jyles.

A few proven offensive lineman along with a good offensive coordinator and maybe even a new head coach and things are looking up guys!

It's been fun getting to know some of the posters in here and I am actually looking forward to next season. I'm pretty sure we'll all have our 2 bits to put in before the opening kickoff next season so it should be interesting.

Now, I just want to see them young boys lace 'em up and play some freaking hockey.

You mean the 10-1 lead at the half?

Or one of the ballsiest places in the history of the league on 3rd and 4?

Or hitting Tucker in the corner in OT?

Ray had the best recievers in the league. An Arsenal of Terry Vaughn, Jason Tucker, Ed Hervey. Jebus, Jason Maas could win a cup with that bunch.

Not sure what your saying with that anyway. I know as a football fan I'd be a whole lot happier watching Calvillo the last dozen yrs than Ray.

Of the two Ray has been opportunistic. I'll give him that. But the 2005 Win and this one certainly weren't impressive from a QB standpoint in anyway.

I remember liking Ray in 2002, 2003. Not so much after that. Its been a long time since he was this effective.
