Unfortunately this will probably just mean Beaulieu keeps his security blanket line together forever. Ugh.
Gally has a bigger impact than we think haha!

I have to say, I was anxious to see the impact not having gally on the team would have. Can't say I'm terribly surprised.

Thank god Galchenyuk wasnt there, it would have been 12-2 at least for Soo. He is that bad defensively.

Well that game was interesting. I'm not sure if it's because of the lack of Galchenyuk or not, but Sarnia looked completely lost and uninspired. Especially defensively, were the forwards told to not back check at all?

9-2... are you kidding me? Sting started their back-up but they pulled him after two absolutely brutal goals.

if anyone is interested, there's an interview with Jacques Beaulieu on the french radio in Quebec. He talks about Galchenyuk and Nathan Beaulieu among other things.

edit: can't get the exact link, go to tuesday, november 20th

http://www.fm93.com/em/l-avant-match-707.html

Jacques basically saying that if Galchenyuk keeps playing this way, he won't stay in the OHL for long. Nathan is finding the AHL to be a tough league but knows what he has to work on in order to improve his game.

Good to hear,

I think Alex is almost ready to make the jump and we were lucky to have timmins leading the charge last year on scouting instead of replacing him like some in the media were clamouring for.

On Nathen, I think everyone expected a similar but extended by a year progression to subban

You could feel that Beaulieu wanted to say Gally was the better player for building a team than Yakupov but he stayed politically correct.

As for Beaulieu, D's offense really rely on the forwards being able to create opportunities. Subban had a tremendous season with the dogs, but the supporting cast was much better too. Beaulieu is not in an environment that will help hi offensively, so what we are able to expect is him playing better defensively.
