Was watching a techno show that aired early November, a French Canadian guy came on and was talking about his game that got Greenlit, it got me curious so i kept watching

Then the host of the show mentioned the studio was located in the part of Montreal where i live, so i googled and wow turns out the studio is located literally two minutes away from where i live on foot

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...28&searchtext=

The game itself looks incredible, can't believe i didn't hear about it prior

I'm definitely going to buy it, hope they make it big i'll be able to have a tour guide in the studio lol

I don't know of any turn based RPG on PC

I don't even know any turn based RPG on consoles outside from Final Fantasy or Paper Mario...

Though i'm pretty sure the South Park game Stick of Truth will be one with QTE like Super Mario RPG/Paper Mario

I posted this game when the greenlight project went live. Glad to see you don't read my posts!

I thought Far Cry 3 was Steamworks? Or maybe I just made that up because I wanted it to be true?

Been there. I've spent many many hours on that game.

These RPGs always do that too me. Once I start I don't want to stop. Single player games in general I think do that to me much much more than MP.

Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms series, etc.

Cthulhu Saves The World is turn based and awesome. Even something similar to that would be great.

Anything in that light.

I just played a little bit of that Last Remnant game. Current-ish, turn based (technically phase based but whatever).

No need to get angry cause Frankie beat you .

I'm down for any game that fits the bill current gen or past. Those are my favourite games. Legend of Dragoon is my favourite game of all time.

Yup, you keep telling yourself that. You're only fooling yourself. I know that deep down, it consumes your soul.

The minimum isn't that hefty though. 5770 being the minimum will have been over 3 years old by the time Crysis 3 is released.

My only interest is will the game actually use 8 threads?

i'd hate to see it running on the bare minimum ...would likely be pretty terrible ...tho, it might not be too bad and i might end up being surprised.

i hope that my cpu is 'modern' enough for their high end requirements. pretty sad that having a quad core @ 3.8ghz makes me kinda worried .

Should be good, I doubt very much it will take full use of an 8 thread CPU. Intel Core i3-530 is listed as the "recommended". That's only a dual core.

Though I do think those requirements finally put out to pasture the 88xx series of cards. It would be an interesting decision to lock out DX10 cards, there are still a truck load of them out there and in terms of raw performance many do just as well as that 5770 mentioned as minimum.
