I searched this, and a highly upvoted ****** comment cited a developer leak with a December 20th - January 4th span.

That picture is kind of depressing for me. I was so excited when Majora's Mask came out, but the cartridge I bought was faulty and always froze at the same spot very early in the game. The place I bought it wouldn't accept a return because they assumed I did something to break it... So I've never gotten more than 2-3 hours into the game.

Hope you never bought from that store ever again, what a rip off

I wish they would do Majora's Mask on the 3DS, the OoT remake was great

Yes that's for Steam, but lately Amazon and GMG have been the ones putting out the really big discounts

They went out of business.

I don't love GameStop but they've been very good to me in the few instances when I had an issue with a game.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is easily my favorite amongst that bundle but make sure you get the Complete mod when you do play it. They're all really good though.

What the **** Steam?!?

From ****** :

Quote:
Quick look and list of errors on the page:
No mention of the game not being completed yet, first of all. Game is still alpha.
"Each world is 100 to 400 square kilometers"- there is only one map right now
"you can also rent and create Public or Private Servers allocating spots for Friends or Clans" Feature isn't implemented yet
"gain experience points and spend it to learn dozen of available skills" Feature not implemented yet
"Meld of PVE(Player versus Environment) and PVP (Player versus Player)" No PvE servers yet (this one just might be the wording, you can choose a PvE style of play, but you can still be killed by other players)
"Up to 100 Players per Game Server" The player cap was at 70, but was recently set down to 50 because the map is too small for that many players
"Dedicated Public Servers as well as Private Servers" No private servers yet.
Also, the screenshots lie. You will NEVER see that many zombies in the actual game.
Honestly, some of the blame falls on Steam for this one. Obviously the info was written by the WarZ guys and then sent to steam, but it's obvious no fact checking happened. Basically the game is being sold as a finished product

1. I think I've gotten to know you well enough that every post of your's regarding mine is criticizing my opinion.

Yeah, I'm the same way. I've been burned out lately and have trouble picking out what game to play next just because I'm not in the mood for many games right now. Although I feel like the simplicity of a game like Spec Ops The Line might get me back into the swing of things. Maybe play another simple game and jump back into something more complicated.

Any chance that new RPG Maker gets a massive sale? I would like to get it, but not a chance in blue hell I'm paying $70.

I would like to see Borderlands 2 get a ridiculous drop in price potentially.

Considering it's a game engine, not a game..maybe.

But that company is notoriously stingy, so I wouldn't expect it.

Yeah, I've been feeling the burnout too. Civ 5 has been the only thing that is continually hooking me lately.

When I get burned out on games I go play Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. My relentless need to maximize my gold income in that game causes me to love gaming again. It's...weird.

Eh, I expected more out of it. It's advertised as being "powerful enough for a developer" but you need to write/install scripts in order to unlock its full potential. But even with scripts, it's still pretty restrictive in some areas. I know development software is expensive as **** compared to other software, so I'm not sure I can say if it's worth the $70 or not.

If you are doing any sort of game development, start with Unity. Since it's free and everything. Then if Unity doesn't fit someone's needs, then you buy other engines. Even big devs are starting to use Unity.

ya, you might be right, something simple and mindless might be something.

Civ5, I should really get back into it, I probably will over the holidays when I am at the in-laws and only have my Mac.

Whenever I felt burnt out I would play Football Manager trying to get to the top of the world, but I am having a tough time with that too...

I have had this type of thoughts before, it is just a matter of time to get back into a game; I just need to find that game and it all goes from there. (I dont really want to buy anything/I have enough unplayed, something will grab me I hope soon). Im a just bit bored.
