I really liked it but did it make you feel guilty at all for being a wrestling fan?
It seemed like Randy The Ram Robinson was a good person, yet he could never find happiness outside of the ring, he could never settle into a relationship of any kind, he couldn't salvage the relationship with his daughter....how many "Randy The Ram's" do you think exist in wrestling today?
Also the part with Necro Butcher with the highly violent match, did anyone cringe at this knowing it happens in real life? to me all that crap is not wrestling, it is not art and should not be encouraged because it doesn't take any psychology to staple someone
Bad movie and I'm not just speaking as a wrestling fan here. The plot was awful, the delivery was brutal and the progression of the story between Randy and his daughter was dumb. I hate you, I don't want to see you. Oh, you bought me a present, I love you. You forgot about our supper plans, I never want to see you again.
I thought it was over-rated. Not a great movie at all. And most of it sounds like Jake the Snake Roberts' life which I certainly don't want to know about. Seeing that loser in Beyond the Mat was enough.
