Tony Cameranesi's doing well. 3 points in the past 2 games against North Dakota
Puts him at 4 goals, 10 points in 10 games so far.
Have to admit, those are pretty good numbers for a rookie playing collegiate hockey.
Scouts seem to be doing a real good job at the draft past few years, would like to see Burke to a better job acquiring/stockpiling mid round picks.
That's probably up for debate but I wouldn't trade Biggs for Jenner 1 for 1 if we had the chance. OHL points don't matter much.
Biggs has the size, strength and enough skill that he can play as at least a 3rd liner in the NHL and we desperately need good players on every line...no more Connolly and Lombardi on third lines. I'd rather see guys like Jerry D'Amigo, Brad Ross, etc be given a shot instead of hiring more overpaid players.
Tony Cameranesi has 10 points in 10 games. Is this reason to be excited? a 5 year project already at a ppg pace in year 2. Be interesting to see if he keeps it up.
I would say its encouraging. As an undersized player, listed at 5-9 during the draft and 5-10 on his teams site, he will need to put up some big numbers in order to show people he has legitimate NHL upside.
Aren't Toninato and Camranesi playing together next year in college?
Yes they are, which is probably going to confuse a lot of us.
I always mix up Toninato and Cameranesi, probably cause they both have Italian names and are American prospects from Minnesota. I keep forgetting which one is playing the NCAA this season and which one is in the USHL
