A couple of turnovers by Rielly late in the 2nd. MJ hasn't done much since the Reinhart goal.

Morgan Rielly comes to town next Friday, so I'm looking forward to seeing him play in person verses my Kelowna Rockets.

How has Colton Sissons been for the Rockets this year?

Yes, but it's not a sure thing he'll be on Moose Jaw when he comes back from the WJCs...they're a team looking to the future, and Rielly's likely playing his last season in the WHL, they'd be smart to get some assets for him.

Edit: and EDM scores. Damnit.
If it was Kadri who had done those turnovers, they would have ripped him apart the entire intermission. Rielly does it and it's not mentioned once. Funny how it works sometimes

Don't worry. After Rielly fails to score 100pts in back to back seasons he'll be ripped to shreds too. Ah the life of Toronto's top 10 draft picks.

Tough game for MJ dmen outside of Rielly. Edmundson has been terrible.

Has his leg disturbed him or anything from the looks of this game?

Biggs is the best example of Lucic in years and now that he is scoring at this pace the arguement about his lack of offense can be eliminated.

The 5th goal was the goalies fault, Rielly was in good position. But I feel like for the fourth goal he needed to be stronger and clear away the rebound that was in front of the net or at least box out the forward who scored. This is my first time seeing him in a WHL game. I wish he had a little bit more of Letang's nastiness

Just noticed Rielly still only has 5 PIM on the season and that was from that fight just a few games into the year. Pretty impressive from a defenseman. Usually means they have good positioning (aka defensive skills).

That was a dman, Keegan Lowe. I agree though, should've boxed him out.

Is that true? I have only seen one game with him. That would be great if it was?

I have a feeling Rielly is going to burn out this season - after a year off and the amount of ice time and games he's played - I can see him fizzling out quickly

I like what I see though

I wonder if they would trade his rights to a contender - it would be excellent to get him into a long playoff run in the WHL

Possibly we could see him on the Marlies after his season is done however for their playoff push - much like Richards and Carter did with Philly years back and they won the Calder that year

He's been skating up and down the ice in the 3rd, Stothers been double shifting him it seems.

MJ's now 1-6-4 in their last 11 games. Caught up with Saskatoon, Kootenay's in sight
