While I agree, Lowry is not only one of the best point guards in the league, but has been (this season thus far) one of the best players in the league.

Everyone has bad games, even LeBron (though his still look fairly impressive).

Well that sucked. Pathetic defense.

Really pleased with Ross and Davis tonight though.

Watching boxscores only is so much better on my health than watching the games. thank god. Still haven't watched a game like I said.. Hopefully Colangelo is really feeling the heat now after this blowout.

I hate how the Toronto media makes it seem like Bargs is our best/star player.

Get rid of him and start Davis.

i don't understand why andrea and lowry were put back in around the 6 minute mark in the 4th. jose and ed were giving us good minutes. the starters are clearly crap **** so why not continue letting the bench do its thing and hopefully claw out a win.

If we're gonna lose let's just play Val, ED, and Ross more. Give them all AT LEAST 25 minutes a game, if not more. Might as well give them development time. Which team loses and benches their young players?

horrible game
however, ross was awesome tonight, he still needs work, but he is coming along very well, defensively he looks good also, harden was making shots even though ross was in his face, he got beat twice or something, but who doesn't? he will be a great player
his speed is also good, plus a great work ethic, he knew he made a mistake on lowry play, so he comes to him even though kyle walked away. I love guys like ross on the team, he has great shooting stroke and will get even better over time.
dunks were awesome, great velocity, dunk contest anyone? he will keep improving, lets go ross!!!!!!!!!!
big fan of this kid, love watching him on the floor

And I hate to say it, but Lowry reminds me of Mike James a little too much for my liking. Didn't like how he blew off Ross after he tried to apologize to him after a mistake. Needs to be a better leader than that.

They probably fire the coach before they fire that POS Colangelo. Then again, no one is under pressure because no one gives a crap. I don't. I just think he should be fired because I can't believe Colangelo has been able to keep his job after doing such a terrible, terrible job.

I like Lowry but I am not sure he's one of the best PG's in the NBA. Nobody is going to take Lowry over guys like Parker, Williams, Westbrook, Paul or Rondo. You have others like Ellis/Jennings in Milwaukee, Holiday, Lawson, Teague who I would take over Lowry. Then you have another group of guys like Lillard, Knight, Dragic, Conley, Lin who could be considered as good as Lowry (maybe not Knight but he's also 5 years younger). Others who are injured right now like Rose, Rubio and Wall won't be included in the discussion. Like I said I am a fan of Lowry I am just not buying him being one of the best PG's in the NBA.

Lowry killed it for me a couple of years back in fantasy so I'll always have a soft spot for him but without bias, you can make a claim that Lowry is a top 10 PG, and has solidified a top 15 position within point guard rankings. Obviously he won't be considered among the upper echelon boys like Paul, Rose, Williams, Irving, Rondo and Westbrook but he's above average and one of the better PGs in the league.

FWIW, ESPN also ranked Lowry #15 in the PG fantasy projections for the 12/13 season.

Lowry is better then Teague and Holiday. And he's in a group above Knight, Dragic and Conley. Lin is a one shot wonder. He's not even that good. Lowry does a lot in terms of the PG position. He gets assists of course, and he scores, but he also has good defense, gets steals and his compete level is very high. He's also got a very good motor and he's quick. He's not up there with Rose but he's above guys like Dragic and Conley.

I was watching the game, but I turned away long enough to miss that play and I only heard the commentators mentioning it briefly. They didn't show a replay that I saw....

What was the play that Ross screwed up on?

Depending on the play, I have mixed feelings about this event. On one hand, Raptors were losing badly and Lowry is definitely a fierce enough competitor (not to mention his old team) to take it personally. I don't have a MAJOR problem with him holding other players accountable for their mistakes. However on the other hand, if he's too aggressive in his leadership like that he might end up dividing the dressing room. I'm not really sure how to feel about Lowry's reaction.

How does Colangelo get so much rope?? This team is an absolute disaster!
Sure would be nice to have a first rounder right about now.

I asked earlier if Lowry was worth the 4th overall pick and people agreed that he was.
So why even care where we end up? We just need to build and get rid of the dead weight.
