Goalies playing well. It's been a good back and forth game.

Both goalies are the reason this game is tied. This is opposite to the OHL games where scoring chances were few and far between and no one could finish. This a goaltenders duel.

maybe if you ignore the soft attempts at dump outs of his own zone that keep turning into turnovers.

Griff reinhart uses his body well to make space and fend off people but is he always this slow? also kinda looks like a chunky guy i thought maybe it was just his face but now seeing him skating im thinking otherwise...? lol

it's a travesty that they skip OT and go straight to the shootout.

A shootout feels like the wrong way to end this.

Should I be surprised you are going to scoff if I don't name Rielly?

....and right after I post that, ANOTHER soft little dinky backhand up the boards by Murray for yet another turnover and clear scoring chance against.

that's least 5 times so far this game we've seen the same play by him, with the same result.

Poor Makarov, been yelling for a minute for someone to get his stick but he gets stuck with a worthless player stick.

Whose idea was no overtime? This game could really use it.

Agreed. This isn't a game that should end in shootout.

Man Pulock got destroyed as well. Loving the hits.

Did anybody see Marakov telling his player to get his stick and the ref wouldn't allow him? Any rule for that sort of thing?

I wish this game could go on for another few overtimes. Thoroughly entertaining.

Ref wouldn't allow him? How do you know that? There's no rule against the player picking up Makarov's stick. He just can't play the puck while holding onto Makarov's stick.

I think he yelled "no" or something to him when he went to get it
