They were a great line. Penguins didn't really have the pick to get him though. I'd like to see the Bruins to grab his linemate from Windsor last year, Kerby Rychel in the draft this year.

Really impressed, believe it was him who blew by Rielly pretty good the other night. Big and fast.

Well... good thing we have a Harrington then! (or Dumoulin for that matter)

Just stings knowing the org could use a solid forward prospect other than Bennett and had Grigorenko and Forsberg available. The org develops PMDs very well so the chances of turning one of the above into a winger+ in a trade is very possible given the Whitney-Kunitz, Gogo-Neal trades.
Offensively? Pouliot probably will be the best out of the bunch by far, but I totally agree what you have to say about trading down. IMO I think Pens should've drafted Forsberg as the future top winger for your guys' centre depth.

Agreed he went 14 picks before the Pens had a pick in the second round of the 2011 draft, but the Pens did grab Harrington with that pick so nice to see the 2nd rounder paying off.

Yikes. Not what you want to see from Reinhart there.

There's gotta be some ice issues going on here. The number of fanned passes today by normally rock solid players (and both teams) has been unreal.

Especially when they also added Olli Maatta later that round, Forsberg would have been a perfect pick.

They had Pouliot pegged as the guy they wanted, so be it. He is a middle of a first round type of pick. Really would have liked if they would have traded down 2-4 picks to pick up an extra pick in the second/third.

If Reinhart can improve his mobility, he could really be something.

Well, I'm talking more about his first step quickness, which is definitely realistic.

Oh I totally forgot about Maatta, who I think will be much better than what his draft position indicates.

Depends if you trust your scouting department. Because personally speaking as an Avs fan I have total faith in Pracey and this scouting team. Have done an amazing job so far for us.

Maybe we could just give Rielly the last ten minutes off while he's still in one piece.

Another player who could have used that. He'll definitely want to be a bit quicker when he gets into the NHL.

They couldn't have guessed that Maatta would still be there at 22. DP will be a solid NHL PPQB, and considering the Pens now have two pairings of Jr. defensemen. Anyway really liking Ty Rattie's game, along with Holmberg.

The forwards for WHL shy of Rattie(who's been very good) have been quite poor.
