1-0 for the OHL after one .
Don't let the score fool you though, it's more indicative of the biased reffing then anything the O has done. 2 penalties for Russia and one for Canada......how is that fair?
Turn that around and Russia is probably winning 4-0 by now imo.

Terrible PP shift by Nesterov there.
All he did was turn the puck over.

glad the Canadian posters can agree with the biased reefing so far. At least it shows we have class and know its wrong. I don't get the point of this reefing if the point isn't to win the games its for evaluation. Russian posters don't look into this game too much...

this game is awful, Russia is plain bad, Canada is just outworking us...Sheifle (sp?) looks dangerous out there.

Yup, I agree with both points. Schiefele looks great, and Russia looks very sloppy.

the hit on Meurs near the boards wasn't exactly clean. Both teams have turned up the physicality.

You'll make your judgment when it's already too late?

McDavid played last game, not playing today, believe Strome is number 16

Very uninspired play by Yakupov, he's been a letdown here.

Had a good rush here and there, but yeah. I've been disappointed as well.

Surprised by the lack of offense from the OHL, just aren't clicking.

Just kind of looks like he would rather not be here at this thing, he knows he already is on the team so I guess this series is kind of redundant for him.

I've noticed a few plays where Griffith seems to have his passes miss or go wide. Just an example by the way.

Yakupov has appeared disappointing because he is being shutdown by Scheifele nearly every shift.

15 minutes to go in the third and a one goal game, you would think the thing would start to heat up but still no zip.
This game has been a stinker so far.
Maybe that Wilson hit on Yak will shake things up.
