With Deveaux serving that suspension, who's gonna be on that line with Howden & Shore? Would Gomes fit there for a game?

Gomes and Shore are both centers.

I would imagine Jacques would take that spot. If nothing else, he provides a bit of muscle for the kids and he can actually score.

Two quick goals against Marky.

He may be dubbed the best goaltender not playing in the NHL but don't forget, he's a Panther so that means all bets are off.

First goal was all on him. Gave up a bad rebound on a long shot and the Griffins player beat him high.

Second goal, was all on his defense. Bad turnover led to the goal scorer walking right down, uncontested, and firing high glove side from between the circles. Really left him out to dry.

After those 2 early goals, he was good. Didn't get truly tested a lot. Made some good saves (including a great poke check on a semi-breakaway), one "holy balls!" save and a bunch of routines.

Ice was terrible so it was very hard for either team to generate quality scoring chances. All in all, I'd say he was solid except for the huge rebound in the first.
