Speaking of this game, should I have been impressed with Team OHL last night? I know there were 8 #1's on that ice, but they looked pretty nondescript to me.... Especially since the Russians just played the night before... I thought they would take it to 'em.. Koekkoek got schooled on that second goal...

He looked as nifty as anyone on his team. Also... I didn't think he'd be a name out there protecting a one-goal lead with 60 seconds on the clock. Really pleased with his performance last night.

That second goal was all on the 'tender. Brutal one to give up.

But despite carrying the play for the majority of the night, it didn't strike me as though they generated much in the way of solid scoring chances. Pretty disappointing effort from BOTH clubs.

The OHL forwards looked like a group who had just been thrown together, on talent alone they controlled the puck most of the game but didn't have any chemistry to generate scoring chances. Binnington could have made a save too. Khokhlachev should get off of Yakupov's line, they're the two best Russian forwards playing and they both want the puck a little too much.

Kid's got some toughness to his game.

And he probably goes to the net as hard as any Bruins prospect not named Jared Knight.

Nice to see that his coach had enough confidence in Koko's defensive game to have him out there for the final minutes of a 1 goal game.

Or, it's just that this kid isn't soft. Some kids like to stand out. Which is fantastic news for us, being Bruins fans.

Been watching the kid in this little tour across the country with the Russian juniors, love his vision, no idea how it will or if it will translate at the pro level but...

For those that have seen him play in the OHL, does he hustle like that consistently??? Not accusing every player from any nation of this as that just isn`t close to being accurate nor fair however, more than a few who put it in extra gear when representing the country whom have left me asking "why doesn`t he hustle like that" when playing for whichever team

At about twenty seconds in, someone yells "Get up."

Anyway, can't wait to see him in a Bruins uniform.

I caught part of the Subway Super Series (I think that's what it's called" and man does Hamilton looks skinny! But he looked like he's got the tools and it's going to be a good time for Boston once he gets going.

I don't like that our best forward prospect is taking pucks off the head but the kid has balls.

He`s a kid, hardly a massive shock that a teenager who has excellent offensive skills hasn`t yet grasped the D-side of things or showed the same exhuberance for defensive play, but he`ll have clean up things in his end eventually enough for CJ to trust him down the road.

Love the rest of the comments about his passion, answered my questions perfectly. Thanks
