I'm so stoked to get a pair of huskies. I dunno what's happening with my poker yet so it's either in Vancouver or NY, either way though. Going to rent a 3 bedroom place with a front and back yard if I'm in NY and buying a place in Van if I'm staying put! Huskies. Mmmmm. Fantastic.

If you come to NY, why don't you just play real poker in Atlantic City?

That's in the plan. I turn 21 in March and the World Series is on May 26th to around mid late July in Vegas so I want to cram some live experience in before then. I'm playing in a few events. 3 NLH $3-$5K events, As many of the PLO events, playing the cheaper HORSE event and maybe a razz, FLH, and a 8-game event. And the main event MAYBE. I hate massive tournaments filled with horrible players and unfortunately, that's what the main event can be like. Also, it's $10K buy in.
I'm guessing the people that play online are a lot worse
online and live poker is like roller and ice hockey. Similar in concept but completely different in execution. It'll take a while to get used to and get in the roll of but ya, online poker is much easier and much more methodical. It's like shopping online with the click of buttons vs. driving around, checking out stores, looking for isles to find the one thing that you want and then comparing prices and such. Online poker is just a lot more versatile and if you use it to your advantage, it's a workable system.
TBH, I'm just going to drive around the entire area once I get settled into the hotel. I want to be less of a tourist and more of a local as time goes by and so it might be nice to step out of the bright lights and go into the suburbs and check things out.
Hmmm... I might have to resort to no dogs then. Depends I guess because I would love to apartment it up in NY, somewhere nice and new and clean.

I could help you out
The area where I used to live, and now live about a 10 minute walk from seems like what you're looking for (minus the 2006+)
You might get that for 500 a month in Canadaland, but that will run you 3000+ in the metropolitan area (in a nice area)
3 nice bedroom house is around $1800 in Canadaland. I'm not going to do the 3 bedroom thing I suppose. An apartment is the better iddea. I just want huskies really bad
My friend is really starting to get on my nerves. The kid has been *****ing non-stop about completely trivial matters and is reacting like he's going crazy or something.

Obvious cry for attention is obvious.
I can't help feeling a bit under attack because that's how I usually am
Wait... are you talking about me Bob?
Wait... does that mean we're friends?
Is this a good friend? I assume so because only the close ones would have such an effect.

He is and he's putting on some obvious act to gain attention. He'll ***** about things and then do absolutely nothing to fix them. Normally this wouldn't be such a big deal, but one of his outlets has been treating me like **** the past few days.
I've ignored it because he's fragile sometimes but it's starting to get old.

Haha, I usually try to relate to everything and everyone to have something to say but what I am about to say is not just because of that.
For people that are spiraling in their own darkness, the people involved and are being affected by it (outlets etc.) need to make it clear what's okay and what's not and make it clear to the person that they need to do more than just complain and look for attention to feel better for a few moments.
In the long run, it'll do you, his life and himself a lot of good to put a pin in it early. Life experience. Your friend was me. I was your friend. Putting up with it for a day or two Bob, can you deal with 4 years of it?
