What are some good places to go with friends on Wednesday. We have seen all movies we are interested in that are out, and some have work/school the next day so no drinking. And no bowling, that is dull.

Durp then.

How forward do you have to get? Maybe I'll just wait until I'm drunk to let the feelings flowwwwwwwwww.I mean I am THE best, guaranteed, at getting too close to someone so I get labelled a friend. And then when I try and distance myself and I become a ******.

Those who don't work, drink. Those who do, don't.

Acquire a bat. Drive to a neighbourhood. Blow up mailboxes.

Bowling. Laser tag. Go to a park and toss around a football. Chip in some money to go rent ice and skate.

By 'being forward' you pretty much have to take the initiative. Don't assume she'll take the initiative - you want her, you should act on it. If she wants you, she'll reciprocate. Making a subtle gesture is going to result in a subtle reciprocation. Making a big leap (eg telling her your emotions) will result in a more blunt reciprocation. Flirting will result in flirting back. If she flirts back, escalate it into something more intimate. Physical contact is a great momentum builder.

Basically, be less subtle in your moves, and make moves earlier. It's fine to build rapport and flirt, but you need to escalate to keep their interest and avoid 'the friendzone'. If you hang out in a group, make sure you create a sense of intimacy within that group where you engage with her more than others (eg talk to her more, share inside jokes, rub something in when she does something embarrassing). Be specific to her with your invitations - 'Hey, I'm going to a party, you should join me', or 'Hey, you and I should go skating.'

Really, though, there's nothing I can say that won't be fairly general. Flirting and wooing are social skills. Becoming good at consciously wooing women takes practice, and that involves a bit of trial and error.

Ok, I need help in power point, hopefully one of you knows how to this. I have two pictures, one is a diagram of my design, another is a close up of a motor. I want to animate my slide so that at first all you can see is the diagram. Then it zooms into the motor in my diagram, fades out, and then the new close up motor picture fades in. Is this doable? I am sure I could do it using some other animation software, but I thought it might be easier in power point. Does anybody know how to go about doing this?

That reminds me of Big Bang Theory... When they're all playing games, and Penny and some girls come in and are like "We're here to have sex with you" and they're all just sweating out...

Step by step process:

1) Insert the picture of the diagram into the slide.
2) Insert a second picture of the diagram into the slide and under the format picture tab use the crop tool to crop out everything besides the motor in the diagram. Make sure that you crop the second photo you inserted into the slide.
3) Insert the new picture of the motor into the slide. It is key that you insert the pictures into the slide in this order.
4) Make all of the photos the same size but spread them out a bit.
5) Click the second photo (photo of diagram motor). Go to the Animations tab and choose the entrance animation "Faded Zoom"
6) Click the first photo (photo of diagram). Go to the Animations tab and choose the exit animation "Disappear"
7) Click the second photo. Go to the animations tab and choose the exit animation "Fade"
8) Click the third photo (new photo of motor). Go to the animations tab and choose the entrance animation "Fade"
9) Move the three photos into the same spot. The new photo of the motor should be the visible photo as the other ones are underneath it.

I think that should work. Tell me if it doesn't.

I'm trying something I found online, but it only covers the first part of what I am trying to do. If it works, I will try to incorporate your last part into it. Thanks a bunch Terrence.

Edit: Got it working, and it looks awesome. Thank you very much Terrence.
