Only a few that signed full season deals with no lockout clause in them

I think most if not all of them would have out-clauses.

Team Canada may be worse off but there are plenty of talented guys to pick from.

TSN is saying that Bettman will make a statement to the Media?

Quote:
Before today's talks take place, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman will address the media with a statement and it can be seen live on TSN and TSN.ca with additional coverage on TSN Radio.

It's called a contract. Some players actually signed full season deals.. But I read somewhere some of them had monthly deals? So some of them could be stuck over there till Jan.? Yes?

If they signed deals they aren't "stuck" they're honoring their deals.

Sounds like a good reasonable position to take at all times for Leaf fans to assume, as its quite applicable when supporting the team at all times, not just a emotional position to take during a lockout.

Works for me as a long time Leaf fan.

It sure feels like it's getting closer.

I think Corey Schneider had signed a deal all through December so he's an example of a guy that wouldn't be back until January (if the season started in December). Unless of course his team overseas allows him to get out of the contract early.

Season predicted to start December 20, 2012.

End of the world is December 21, 2012.

Great, just great.

I don't know about you, but I'd be thrilled to get one more day watching hockey before the end.

Time enough for the Leafs to get on pace for an 82-0 season

this whole thing was staged?
Bettman was allowed to do his thing til dec 1st
then the owners will take over and work it out for a season to start around dec 20
so they knew in advance

say its not true
