That was a great episode of Primetime. I have never seen GSP this focused for a fight since he fought B.J the 2nd time.

I'm surprised GSP's only around -325 here. Is it just because of the long layoff? I really don't see Condit having much more than a puncher's chance.

Man, Condit is 13-1 in his last 14 fights.

28 years old, 10 year vet of MMA... beaten some really tough fighters.

This guy is the real deal. I could easily see Georges loosing tonight.

Agreed, I've followed him since his early WEC days & he had always ha future contender written all over him.

Usually the "toughest fight to date" term is over used, not in this case.

Really? Maybe I should watch the Diaz fight over again.. I recall thinking Nick won that fight.

I'll be completely shocked if GSP loses tonight.

Yup. He also is very active off his back. Judging could end up being really key in this fight because of the styles.

Ring/Phillipou has been cancelled. Ring is sick and won't be cleared to fight.

Condit's toughest fight was against Kampmann, which he lost.

Nonsense. The only way GSP loses this fight is if his knee gives out.

12-2 and lost his last fight. But yeah, he's definitely got a shot. I still don't think he wins though.

This is pretty much how I see it. And sure if Serra caught GSP Condit could, but it's just not likely. I don't see Condit being active off his back or the judging making any difference. We're not talking Bas-Randleman here. Condit won't be able to stay off his back, and that's gonna spell trouble for him. I actually like Condit, but i really don't see him as being a whole lot different of a threat than Alves.

If Condit's on his back for five rounds there will be chances for him to land some elbows and cut up GSP. I don't see how Alves, who is very limited on the ground in general, is any comparison. GSP is the rightful heavy favorite but there are ways Condit can do some damage.

I predict a GSP win by KO. His new improved ground and pound game is gonna send Condit back to childhood.

I predicted UFC 153 was going to be crap and was totally wrong. Really enjoyed watching that card.

BTW, I thought I read on the ticker last night that the superfight between the Spider and Rush would happen if GSP wins tonight. It will take place in Dallas, Toronto, or a soccer stadium in Brazil.

They're both guys who could pose a legitimate threat to GSP standing who won't be able to keep the fight there, who also don't have the type of BJJ to pose a serious threat. Sure Condit could win on a cut, but again, that would fall into the puncher's chance category. Kendall Grove has some bony elbows, doesn't increase his odds that much of winning a fight off his back.

Dana said this for sure. I'll believe it when I see it. I really don't think GSP wants anything to do with that fight, so until I hear him agree to it I have to assume it isn't happening.

It's a far cry from UFC 83 in this building.

That time, place was packed before the first prelim. Every UFC before this in Montreal, there was a long line of people waiting for doors to open. Not so tonight.

Hope the atmosphere doesn't completely suck.

My oracle says Condit takes it home tonight.

I've gotta be honest, if he does, I'll be legit sad.

For the first time, they have the intro videos to the fights in French.

All the Toronto folk in the building surely understand it.
