Glencross has a ppg of .57 over the last 3 years while being a top pker and seeing little pp time before this year, Little is also a good pker and has a ppg of .52 and saw almost triple the pp time of Glencross until this year. So if Glencross is a glorified scrub that makes Little a legitimate scrub.

No interest in Little, too small and the Jets wouldn't do it anyways. Doesn't make sense to trade for an older player with similar point production. I love Glencross and everything he does for the Flames but I think he's more suited for a third line role.

Wrong. Glencross is a good (not great) player but the deal doesn't make sense for either team.

Trade with Colorado makes no sense, they aren't moving Hejduk, especially for that.

Trade with the Jets, is bad for the Jets. Little has greater value than Glencross.

Except they really, really are not similar. They have similar stats, but are very different in how they accumulate those stats, and what they contribute beyond the stats.

Glencross is a gritty, physical winger who's speed and hands allow him to be useful in the top 6.

Little, on the other hand, is a center. The only thing that stands out a little in his skill set is his shot. But overall he's a solid 2nd line center and was forced into a 1st line role last year.

To the OP, even adding Jokinen the Jets are really thin down the middle. That's the main reason this doesn't work. Glencross has a fair bit of value to the right team, but the right team is one that has an established core and is looking to make a run at the SC. To a team that's still trying to build their core, he's a luxury they cannot afford.
