Rank the best dmen outside the NHL
From Seth Jones, to Justin Schultz to Sami Vatanen(hi Ducks fans). Rank the best defensemen yet to play a game in the NHL. To be clear, not who is the better player right now, but who will be when their careers hit full stride.

Maata doesn't really belong near this conversation, unless you're just listing Finns of course.

Needs more Brodin. The guy didn't miss a beat going from the SEL to the AHL. He should be top 5 in defensemen not to play in the NHL. Once he gains a little more experience, the guy is going to be awesome. It's surreal how amazing his plays turn out.

Rielly looked better than Hamilton in the Canada/Russia challenge. Hamilton even sat out a game if I recall. I still like to see Rielly's stats playing on a better team. Ryan Murray is up there, ofcourse Hamilton and I would mention Pulock as well.

Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.

I'm a bit surprised to see Jones land so low on some of these lists.
